Try to post in the correct section
Just take note of where you are, and make sure what you're posting is suitable for the category, so that other people don't have to move/delete it later.

Respect other members
Treat other people as you'd want them to treat you, and all that kind of stuff. If a new member shows up, be nice and extend them a greeting, help them out if they need it, and be patient if they're going through a learning curve. Being new can make people feel scared, so be friendly and encourage them to join in.

No spam
Don't post unless you've got something to say. It doesn't matter how short your post is, as long as there is a point to posting it.

Don't ignore the PM system
If you need to talk to one person, use Private Messages. Don't create a new topic directed solely at one person. Doing so is considered spam.

Use the edit button wherever possible
Double-posting is not considered an offense if you've thought of something else to add, but if you simply need to amend your post, the edit button is waiting for you. If it's only been a few minutes since you posted, try editing.

Don't flame other people
Disagreeing with someone is fine, but just don't degrade to the point of throwing insults back and forth.

No necromancy
If a topic is months old and has been forgotten about, don't revive it unless you've got something really good to contribute.

Try to stay on-topic
Spontaneity is always good, but try not to let it get out of hand.

No porn
No board is allowed that kind of thing, so don't even think about it.
