13 Days of Passing Oct. 19 - 31
The 13 Days of Passing, commonly called 'Halloween', is a great celebration that takes place all across Arca, celebrating the passing of the dead. These 13 days of the year are the only days of the year where the souls of the dead are judged and allowed to pass on to their final resting place. However, because of this other-worldly activity, many Ghosts and Spirits bleed into the realm of the living for these 13 days.
During the Halloween Celebration, Arcanians wear masks and costumes, disguising themselves from the more malevolent spirits that become trapped in the mortal realm. Those who do not disguise themselves run the risk of being pranked, attacked, or even possessed by the spirits. Mortals of Arca also leave offerings, trying to bribe the judging spirits to allow their friends and relatives easier passage. They also leave parting gifts for their dead friends and relatives, for after they have been judged, contact with the mortal realm is impossible, they can never be revived, and their bodies can never be tainted with undeath.
As usual, while the Reaper is busy sorting out his affairs, he may have a few tasks for your characters, as well as spooky, otherworldly prizes for all. The usual postathon will have to be a no-go, so the 13 Days of Passing will be more in-character-focused this year, with the usual celebration in Owl City, as well as celebrations in each of the capitals. There will, as usual, be special, Halloween Quests available to all Arca members, with a unique holiday prize for all who complete it.

Spooky Mask A free Halloween mask for your character! Your mask can look however you like. This mask has no special attributes, but if you don't want to be attacked by malevolent spirits, it might be a good idea to keep it on until the Realm of the Dead is all sorted out.

10 Moonblossoms A beautiful flower that only grows during the 13 Days of Passing. They are often given as signs of friendship or love, and vain women often compete among each other to see who can receive the most Moonblossoms from handsome men.
