Definitely straying away from DW here, but whatever... Isn't that what this forum is for? =D

Did anyone else read the Guardians of Ga'Hoole when they were younger? Or even recently... Honestly, I loved those books when I was in middle school. They were practically my life. And now I'm rereading them in preparation for the movie, and I appreciate different things about them now. Namely, just what they have to say about true nobility, leadership, etc... And Ezylryb = Winston Churchill = awesomeness.

But, yeah, is anyone else as excited as I am about the movie?! I practically jumped in my seat when I saw the preview! I don't really care if the plot strays from the books like I've heard it has, because it's more the spirit of the whole thing that I care about. And it's so beautiful like I always thought it would be! The only thing I'm mad about is the name change... that just seemed unnecessary to me.

I guess to anyone who hasn't read the books, the movie seems kind of stupid (that's what I've heard anyway), but for diehard fans like myself, it's like all my childhood imaginations coming true.

Anywho, just wondering if there's any secret Guardian fans lurking about. And if anyone is as surprised as I am that there aren't any RP sites for it cropping up, in light of the movie. I haven't seen a single new one, or even an active one...
