Day of the Moon - SPOILERS!

SPOILERS FOR DAY OF THE MOON!


Wow!! Just... wow. A Time Lord/Lady?? And Amy holding the baby? And what's the deal with the positive/negative?! I wonder if it's some sort of abnormal pregnancy with one of the old Time Lords/Ladies or something... Romana? The Rani? I'm so confused...

Anyway. That was CRAZY. And the scene in the orphanage was creeping me out. Moffat's getting back to his freaky stuff, but it's brilliant.

So what did everyone think?

OMG.....OMG....OMG......

I can keep going on saying that but my head will most likely expload from all the hyperactive confusion that is now going through my mind. The episode was SUPER freaking it had me jumping out of my skin at one point and the ending....THE ENDING!! OMG. My money is that its Romana or a version of a Romana, NO way no WAY can it be Amy's kid because if it was then she would be a Time Lady/Human hybrid and wouldn't have Regeneration abilities...or would a half and half have that ability....I....no...yes...no...OMG!

is it just me or did/does the little girls healing/regenerating ability look like Jenny's ?

It is just me or is it seeming mroe and more like last season was pretty much all exposition for this one!

I love the little point about humans all seeing the silence and forgetting that we've seen the clip, cus I mean who hasn't see the Buzz moon video. It's the clever quantum puzzle that Moffet is so good at.

I wondered if the little girl was Jenny, because she was preternaturally strong because she was a little solider girl. Or it's the TARDIS messing with things and it's a little temporal baby and Amy's theory about the time travel giving the baby a 'time head' was pseudo right.

*shamefully scuttles in*

I'm actually liking Matt Smith (mainly with the interaction between The Doctor and River, because it makes me laugh) I watched the first two episodes, love them, I'm now hooked (which is bad cause I actually work when the episodes are on and I'm all: I WANNA GO HOME) and omg omg omg these episodes.

I'm sorry. I can't form how much awesomeness that is in these episodes.
Except for the fact that little girl seemed a little too happy to regenerate.
And Rory!angst <3
AND postivite/negative - wth does it meeeeaaaan.

ANYWAY. The fourth episode IS WRITTEN BY MY FAVOURITE AUTHOR IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. NEIL GAIMAN. SO. SUPER excited for that! Next week I can't wait for either.

And I'm prodding myself to see where this squealing fangirlyness came from.

Oh. I love Canton too. I mean, the guy who plays him is in supernatural (as a demon called Crowley) and so I love him anyway but he was there and he was awesome and <33333

Im torn on river, I hate the fact they are pushing the doctor/river romance angle but at the same time I like her style 'diving' into the TARDIS etc.

I have to admit these two epsiodes are amazing, last season was disapointing in terms of doctor who but this season has more than made up for ti.

POOR RORY! My heart broke for him when he thought she was talking about the doc. about how she loved him. AWWWWW I <3 the nose!

I love Canton and the little gay joke at the end. It was hilarious.

Well, it was confusingly creepy. Which, I guess is par for the course for the Moff. Still though, glad to see there's another Time Lord about. Doubtful that it will turn out to be Amy's kid, because all the clues were pointing to that and they love misdirection.

Anyway... Onwards!

Oh my brain!!! That was so frickin incredible I am blown!

I would like it if they kept River/Doctor to flirting though. The romantic angle is a little...I don't know, I don't think I can ever picture the Doctor with anyone that way. I LOVE River, don't get me wrong, it just...confuses me. (LOL, Matt Smith's wildly swinging uncomfortable arms when she was kissing him. LOVED that too.)

Amy's kid! Dude, I doubt the little girl and Amy's child are the same somehow, it looks altogether too obvious. And they go in the opposite direction every time. This is going to be SO awesome, figuring out who this girl is...

And PIRATES in the next episode! Oh, my poor brain...Steven Moffat, what are you DOING to me???

Well, if the child IS River - probability is there - then it doesn't contradict anything... River DID say in her last episode that the death of the second heart would kill a Time Lord stone dead

how else would she know?

Still, it's EXTREMELY odd for the Doctor not to notice it... unless River's got some sort of perception filter thing. Because he's always known when someone else was a time lord before...

Hey, I think I figured out how the Doctor came up with his solution for the Silence.

Remember the first instance of the Weeping Angels? About the moonshot, Martha commented: "We went three times." Going to hazard a guess that the Doctor thought something was weird and went back a couple of times... possibly recording a message to himself so he would remember 1969 and the moonshot.
