General appearance: Too look at Nivea is one of those people that defiantly catches the eyes of passerbys. As her job is demanding, she is constantly at the gym, burning off the weight that she thinks she has put on. Nivea was born with a naturally thin but curvy figure with protruding hip bones and that gorgous slightly tan skin she got from her mother. Because of her constant habit of working out, she has beautifully defined muscles on her arms and legs that help her in her line of work a great deal.
Nivea has inked her skin a couple of times, one celtic cross covering the whole of her back and the chinese symbol for goddess on her right wrist. She had gotten them both done one day as a dare, much to the disgust of her parents. As well as the couple of tattoos, Nivea also has her ears, belly button and tounge pierced, though she is forced to take them out for her job. She also has a slight scar on her stomach when she got her appendix out and a couple of cuts on her wrists from a sex act that went horribly wrong.
Even though her hair changes a lot, from brown to blonde and even to red, it still stays the same style, which compliments her other features perfectly. She was always one to love long hair and would never change that element. Now she has it a light brown as she in going through her ‘natural’ looking phase. Nivea never wears much makeup, as she doesn’t need too, but when she does its just the occasional eyeliner, eyeshadow and some lip gloss to make her just that much more kissable.
Nivea is quite tall, and it has always been a blessing to her in attracting people for sex or relationships. It has also helped her in her job as it is easier to cuff someone who is that little bit stronger than her.

Personality: Nivea really has one of those personality that changes all the time and makes it hard for people to really know the true her. Although she comes across as an open and loud person, deep down she has a couple of dark memories that stops her from truly shinning. Although she is loud and seemingly open, she rarely gives anything about herself or past up to anyone except to those really close to her. This creates an air of mystery around Nivea that attracts people to get to know her, even if she is reluctant in doing so.
Being very loyal to her friends and the little family she has left, she would stop at nothing to get them out of harms way. Being very strong and willingly determined, Nivea makes sure to put everyone before herself, even if it would lead to her own death. It has always been her strongest point in life and even if her personality does change, that certain factor would never.
She has very strong emotions, leading her to think differently about people when on cases, though it has never caused her anything but happiness. Although she could be classified as a little ‘moodified’ at times, it is the one thing that makes her vaulanable to let people in to her life and drop down her walls. This is both a blessing and a curse as people could always hurt her when she finally lets them into her guarded heart.
If Nivea sees something that isn’t right or horribly wrong, she definitely wont keep quiet with her own oppionions. She tends to jump to her own conclusions before the real story is said and can often act on her instincts and put herself at risk to protect those around her.

History: Rose Winters and Brian Chaffley were lovers of tow very different households. Brian, who was brought up in a rich family who owned many different banks in the area of London and Rose, who was of an average family who was studying to become a writer. They met one snowy day and feel in love after a couple of months of dates. Even though both their parents hated this fact, Rose fell pregnant to Victor, a boy of great controversy to both their families. As Rose gave birth to Victor, the doctors were shocked to find that Victor was incredibly deformed, to the point were after a couple of months in hospital died suddenly. The doctors found that Victor was carrying the dominat Mutant gene of Huntington's disease. Knowing that this gene in passed down through families, they did numerous tests on both Brian and Rose to discover that Rose was the one who carried the disease.
As three years went passed, Rose began to show symbtoms that her body was losing its fight with the disease. As the doctors started bringing her in for tests to slow the effects down, they discovered that she was pregnant and carrying Nivea, only a couple of months old in her stomach. They insisted that they still do the tests, but Rose refused knowing that it would hurt the baby. As the groulling rest of the 6 months past, Rose gave birth to Nivea, who despite all odds was perfectly normal, and not carrying to Huntington gene. When Nivea hit the young age of two years old, her mother finally lost her battle with the disease and died, leaving Brian to raise his beautiful little girl alone.
As Nivea hit primary school, she was intrigued by the shows on tv about police and their actions to stop crime, it was then that her life was set on only one thing. To become a police officer and help people who couldn’t help themselves. With her father out a lot to get money in to support them righteously she began to read information in books about what she would never to do to become one of her hero’s. By the time she had finished primary school she had grades that people had never seen from someone her age. She was top of her school, though only in the subjects that she needed to, to become a cop. Seeing her potential her father sent her to a private secondary school were she also strived and got accepted into a training academy for the police force.
After years of training, she finally made it to a rank of detective, and was moved here to Cardiff where she is happily working along side her partner Detective Wilson Ledger. It was in the years at the academy that she discovered her bisexuality and these days she has been in relationships with both males and females, seeing them in equal terms. She does hope that she can find someone who can keep her warm at night though.
UPDATED!: Nivea has now gotten a new job at Torchwood 24 as the Alien Specialist. She loved her new job and enjoys going to work everyday. Nivea has also caught up with Gwen, her old room mate at the police academy which has made her really happy. Zeppelin was a man that Nivea bumped into on the street one day who was suffering from server addiction. Nivea stuck by him and helped him over come his weakness and is currently very much in love with him, though she hasnt gotten up the nerve to tell him that yet.

Sample RP: The sun was bright through the window, it caused the dull floorboards to shine a beautiful mahognany. It had been a long night out on her newest case and even though she would never do it, she had picked some girl up in a bar on her way home to get all the pent up stress off of her shoulders. Stirring awake Nivea groaned, scrunching her eyes together as the satin curtains blew away from the open window and a white light hit her eyes. Relaxing back onto the pillows she fully opened her eyes and looked around at her surroundings. The first thing she recgognsised was this wasn’t her home, but must be the home of the girl laying peacefully next to her. Sitting up in the bed she let the white cotton sheets pool around her hips, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hands she looked down at the red hair snuggled into her sheets.
Last night had been a blur, both herself and her partner had been called to one of the local ‘drug house’ to find a fight between to addicts which had turned ugly. It wasn’t really a pretty site in there and it was something that Nivea hoped to never see again. And what made it worse was that during the fight shots were fired and she got a spray of cocaine in her eyes. Cringing at that thought Nivea blinked her heavy eyes a couple of times to adjust to the sunlight around her and turned to face the woman next to her, seeing as though she was wide awake and staring right at her.
She defiantly was beautiful and perhaps that was why Nivea had picked her up. “Hey your awake..You have a really beautiful place Sophia..I didn’t really get enough time to fully take it in last night..” Nivea joked, tossing her hair out of her eyes and tucking Sophia’s behind her ears. She was sure that this woman was someone experimenting with her sexuality which is why she wasn’t really getting her hopes up for anything. Normally people like that really only acted on there feelings at the time and not what they really feel inside. Placing a soft kiss on the girls lips she got out of the bed, trying to find her clothes that were randomly scattered around the apartment floor. “Listen, I have to go to work.. “ After placing on her under garments she slipped on her shirt, turning around to see Sophia sitting up, her eyes begging Nivea to stay.
“Oh I see…I was just another one night stand for you right?” Sophia sighed, bunching the sheets up to her chest and trying to huff her way towards the shower to rid herself of Nivea. But she was stopped by a soft hand on her wrist. Looking around she saw Nivea staring right at her. “No, Sophia…It’s not like that..I really do have to get to work..but…” Looking around the apartment she found an eyeliner pencil and wrote down her number on her hand before kissing Sophia’s knuckles. “..I want you to call me..Anytime after six..” Smiling Nivea gave Sophia a kiss, saying her goodbyes and left, smiling all the way from the front door to her car on the other side of the road.
