Here's my second reveiw! :P
Story- In dkr you must travel from domain to domain collecting gold balloons. These balloons open new doors that help you progress in the story. It's a fairly simple concept, win a race, get a reward and move on. What's unique is the boss battles. After you do a certain ammount of races you are pitted against a boss. Although it's not fairly difficult, I didn't find myself really challenged.
Graphics- The tracks and weapons are very crisp but the characters fail. They are very blocky and don't have much detail. Being used to mph, the characters didn't please me. Other details such as cars, boosts and explosions are very well done.
Sound- The music in this game is very happy go lucky. It's really catchy but a lot of the songs are just different versions of the main song. I also don't like the change in the voices. Taj now sounds like a British guy, and Pipsy sounds more masculan than TipTup. O_o These new voices just really bug me.
WiFi- In the WiFi mode you are given many search options. You can play single race, trophy race, token tussle and battle. This adds a lot more to the replay value than mkds had. The best part is that you can search for up to 6 players. This makes WiFi quite exciting. The only downfall is that you can d/c without a punishment, and your WiFi stats add to your signle player stats.
Conclusion- Dkr is a very great racing game that will keep players occupied for awhile. With a fairly long story (for a ds game) and a great WiFi mode, it has plently of replay value.
Scores:
Story: 8 Graphics: 8 Sound: 6 WiFi: 9
Overall: 7.75
