I'm not positive, but last I heard Exxy said that the indigo taught the most alch...although now with mana infusions that's where I'd place my bet, the deep yellow ones.

I've found that they all teach about the same honestly. The indigo potions teach (me, not sure about anyone else) 2% for each potion made, and it takes about a third of the time to make an infusion. However the infusion teaches me around 6-7% per potion made. So when you take into account the time spent crushing roots and extracting essence, they both teach around the same amount.

it would be best to make the indigo ones since it takes longer to find the ingredents for the mana potions

No, it would be best to make the mana potions because they rule. And you should make lots of them and put them into the donations box. Because they rule.

Too lazy? Honestly, I would learn alchemy if I had a series of recipes in front of me, had the equipment, and actually knew the commands. I spent about 750 gold buying a mortar and the t'something thorns which I couldn't forage and no one else wanted to forage. Then I sat there with my gantaya roots, crushed, and -couldn't figure out how to combine anything-. After a few minutes of trying a few hundred commands with no prominent alchemists on and no one in STS, I gave up, drank the water, put the mortar in the donations box (along with the thorns and roots), and began worshipping the god that is Lishara (who made 32 of those infusions in one sitting). In fact, the only reason I am learning skinning is to be able to skin ghouls when I get there and donate them to the cause of my best friends, the infusion alchemists.

Well yes, I have known that for awhile, but I hadn't been to Tristin's site yet when I was still experimenting.

Well, if you just ask someone over thinker to help you then they would, or ask me to forage something for you cause i can forage anything. That was dumb buying all those thorns.

I bought 4. For 25 gold each. It's not like I drew in on the royal funds. And I never got around to using them. And as I said, I grew far too frustrated with it before I found an alchemist.
