UKFF Rules & Guildlines
Please read and agree to these terms & conditions before posting on the UK Fan Forum...
About Us
First of all, the UK Fan Forum is a non-profitable site designed to act as an internet community for fans of pro wrestling who live in the UK, although we welcome wrestling fans from all over the world.
Abuse/Flaming
Abusing or flaming other members is not allowed on the UKFF. It spoils genuine discussion and any members found to be abusing/flaming others will be dealt with.
Tape Trading
Tape Traders: All topics relating to tape trading advertisments and trading requests should be posted in our Classifieds board here. We ask that you respect this rule because not only does this sort of plugging bog down the forum with tape trading posts, but it also ruins legitimate threads when they are dragged off topic by traders pimping their business.
Bannings
If you have been banned from The UKFF in the past and have not been given permission to re-register you may NOT register to use the UKFF.
Adverts/Plugs
Plugging in the main forum is not allowed. Any adverts for your website/business/federation/private sale/auction etc should be posted to our UKFF: Classifieds board. You can put the URL of your site in your signature, so that it appears at the bottom of your posts. We can also put your site into the Plug-O-Meter if you put a link to the forum on your site, e-mail Moorish (with the URL, title and slogan of your site) if you would like to do a link exchange. Remember to get onto the Plug-O-Meter, you must have a link back to the UKFF on the main page of your site. You can use this image to link to us if you wish.
Wrestling Federations: If you wish to post details of an upcoming event in the main forum, we ask that you follow these conditions:
* One thread per show, no additional thread for results, discussion, pics etc. Any repeat threads will be deleted or merged at our discretion.
* Any relevant information should be included in the first post of the thread and updated via the edit function as required. So that means no lazy links to another website for card info etc.
In the cases where these conditions are not met then we will either delete/merge/close the appropriate threads and warn the topic starter.
Spoilers
Any posts about TV shows which haven't aired yet in the UK (Raw, for example) should have SPOILERS clearly placed in the subject line. It is important that you abide by the spoiler rules as people revealing spoilers will have their accounts suspended, so take care before posting. If we suspect you of deliberately revealing spoilers or continuously revealing spoilers we will disable your account permanently.
Raw & Smackdown
Raw or Smackdown spoilers can be posted after the evening show (i.e 9/10pm) has aired. It should be noted that with Raw now being broadcast live in the early hours of Tuesday morning, threads relating to the show should still be marked as SPOILERS until the evening show has aired. This is to give people who are unable to stay up for the live show a chance to see it without having the show spoiled.
Pay Per View events
SPOILERS should be marked for the next 2 days after the event has taken place, therefore until Tuesday evening (9 PM) in the case of a Sunday PPV. A Tuesday PPV would alter that deadline to Thursday evening at 9 PM.
TNA Events
ALL TNA results must be clearly marked as SPOILERS until one week after the US airing. This includes Impact, meaning no unmarked spoilers should be posted until a week after the relevant episode has aired in the US (or on the Internet, as is currently the situation). Obviously this also includes placing any spoilers in your signature.
This is to give people enough time to either download the shows or get them from a trader. Even though we're not implementing a rule to go alongside the delayed TWC shows, we still ask that everyone be considerate enough to try and not post important spoilers in topic titles just for the sake of doing so.
Signature
Images & Avatars
Signature images & avatars are welcome on the UKFF, but these should be no larger than 30kb in size, and should not be of a size which could distract people from reading a thread. We have set a limit at 400 by 300 pixels, any signatures found to be breaking either of these limits will be removed, and repeat offenders will have the rights to a signature removed. We we ask you to comply to this because as the sizes of images increase, so do the loading times of all the pages here. Please remember that not everyone has a super-fast, broadband connection.
Off Topic
Off topic posts are welcome, but must be posted in the Off-Topic Forum. Any posts related to wrestling or Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) should be placed in the Main Forum.
Multiple Accounts
You are not allowed to register under multiple identities, so please only register for one account per person. Extra accounts take up space on the server, so if you lose your password, either e-mail us or use the lost password function. We can changes your username if you wish, so just you ask us. Remember you can modify most of the details of your account using My Controls.
Your Responsibility
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use UKFF to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, unneccessarily vulgar, hateful, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.
