Opening an eye groggily Caleb cursed silently to himself, pushing Samael to the back of his mind but not before receiving an equal amount of cursing from his other half. He wished there was just one morning or even one dream that his other half didn’t interrupt the peacefulness of his sleep. In his dreams his alter ego was always able to gain more power and no matter what corridor of his mind he shut himself away in he still managed to find him and try to take control for the day.
Swinging his feet off the bed he shook his head, leaving his hair a jumbled mess as he dressed and when he pulled his shirt over his head it distorted the long locks even further. Even though his stomach growled he didn’t have much of an appetite, the night’s restlessness taking it all out of him. Instead he moved out into the garden, his hands dug down into his pockets, his eyes half closed as he walked and basked in the sun that shone down on him and the rest of Allerdyce Manor.
Peaking an eye open slightly wider he glanced over at a figure that appeared to be dead on the wall but as he strode closer the steady rise and fall of his chest proved that he was indeed quite alive. Walking close he bent at the waist so his bright eyes looked squarely into the fellow brotherhood members slitted eyes, maybe some friendly conversation would be enough to distract him from the nagging feeling of Samael pressing at the back of his mind, ”Hey there, comfortable?”
