Masque Ball Information
This May will be celebrated in style with a Masque Ball, open to all who wish to attend. It isn't mandatory, so those of you who would rather stay in and drink some cocoa by a nice warm fire and watch television are welcome to do so. The ball itself will be held over a single night of in-game time, however it will be played over a period of seven days to allow for enough time for everyone to play a part in the ball. Or at least those of you who wish to join in. Currently the date's set are from May 19th (Saturday) to May 26th (also a Saturday). However, if there are any members who do wish to take part in the Masque Ball but are unable to participate during the set time, please contact the administrator and then hopefully we can work something out.
To keep things fairly simple, the ball will be held in a new category which can be found here. The dance will be held in the hall where a local band will play a selection of different music. People coming to the masque are quite welcome to leave the confines of the hall however to explore the rest of the plaza. Please keep in mind that the police will be in the area and as such we expect everyone to be mature and to act accordingly in their presence.
The main highlight of the Masque Ball, is that everyone who participates comes in costume. The dress code is formal + Mask, however anyone who doesn't wish to splash out their cash or is unable to splash out their cash on a dress or suit is quite welcome to come casual. Please note however that as this is a Masque Ball, it is advised that you come with a mask. We do have a number of spare masks being held at the door for anyone who forgets or was simply too arrogant to go out and buy one. The idea of our Masque Ball is for people to come anonymously and enjoy other people's company without the prejudice of appearence, gender, race, religion, and so on and so forth.

New topics may be posted until the 26th, but after that new topics will be disabled. You may, however, continue posting in your threads which you made beforehand and finish them (but remember to PM me so I can archive the topic). Once all topics are finished (or if they aren't posted in after a few days) then the Ballroom category will be gone.
Everyone who's going to participate to do is to post back here with a link to the mask your character is going to be using for the evening as I'll be listing them in the post below so that the other members can view what you'll be wearing. To an extent of course. You'll find links below to searches on google for 'masks' and 'masque' -- (please make sure the image is 200x200 or bigger and list your characters full name)
