Weaknesses in mutations:

For the most part, Ariel has telepathy down. Seeing as it's her only form of communication with others, she's spent as much time as possible honing that ability. Of course, there are times when she can't control what goes in or out of her head, but again, for the most part that power's good. Now, the concussion beams are another story. Seeing as it's a relatively new power, she's not quite sure how to control it. Right now, it's mainly when she's angry this power comes into play. Which isn't very often, but still. So, she's trying to train herself with this ability so it doesn't go out of control. After all, she's seen on television what happens when a mutant loses control.

Overall appearance:

One look at Ariel could tell you that her appearance reflects her personality in every way, shape, and form. When you look at her you see a gorgeous, down-to-earth human being. One of the reasons you come to this conclusion is the fact that her eyes hold more emotion than you could ever seem to imagine, and always seem to be sincere. She has long blonde hair that she’ll either curl or leave naturally straight. Her long golden locks fall around four or five inches past her shoulders. The fact that she has blonde hair always seemed to marvel her father. You see, he had black hair. Everyone on his side of the family had jet black hair. It was the same on her mother’s side. But, he learned to love their daughter’s sense of uniqueness.

While she has different hair, her eyes reflect her father’s. Very dark brown pools of chocolate seem to swirl within the irises of her almond-shaped eyes. From a distance, they may even seem so dark as to come to the conclusion that they’re black. However, close up, you manage to catch the light of the sun highlighting the brown and bronze tinges within her eyes. Her aunt also managed to enforce upon her the talents of a beautician. Ariel's eyebrows are very well shaped – she waxes them. Black ink eyeliner always appropriately adorns her eyes, and her lashes are constantly lengthened by black ink mascara, applied seemingly professionally.

Now on to Ariel's facial structure. She had luckily been blessed with the high cheekbones of the Tritons, but the bee-stung lips of the Lemnoses. She has a defined jaw-line, small, straight nose, and a narrow chin; that she got from both the Tritons and the Lemnoses, the jaw-line coming from the Tritons, and narrow chin and nose from the Lemnoses. Also, luckily for her, her skin has never had a blemish. Not once. She also got this from the Lemnoses, seeing as all of the Tritons had had ghastly acne problems as teenagers. Her complexion, however, isn’t very different from the Tritons. While she still has French and Danish qualities, like her high, rounded cheekbones, she more so reflects a Russian or Italian. Perhaps even both of those nationalities, including American, mixed.

Her figure. Her father had been slightly overweight as a child, but had happily grown out of it when he began his later teens. Her aunt (on her mother's side; she helped out when Paris did not know what to do) had known that that was in the genes, so she’d worked Ariel to remain thin, rather than being overweight and unhealthy like her father had been. She exercised each day for four hours. Exercising and working out has also given her some muscle tone she enjoys. All of that physical fitness gave Ariel good coordination. She also began dancing, though much, much earlier. But we’ll get into that later. Back to her figure. Ariel has remained very healthy-looking, and has obviously developed curves. After all, she is sixteen. Her aunt is jealous of these curves, but knows that there’s nothing she can do now. Ariel's measurements are as such; her bust is 36”, her waist is 23”, and her hips are 34”. Her aunt still instructs Ariel to exercise on a regular basis, and she remains physically active to keep in shape.

The factor of Ariel's styles of clothing is now being brought to attention. She dresses in a wide variety… but let me explain the clothing you’re more likely to see her in. She mainly wears tight, well-fitting shorts and pants, tight t-shirts, blouses, short denim shorts, the bohemian style of dresses over jeans, sweats… generally clothes that she’s comfortable in. Usually the shoes on her feet are white Converse EV Pro 2K5. Or heels. She also has routine jewelry that she wears. She usually wears a silver chain necklace with a dangling diamond "A" charm, silver chain bracelets and silver charm bracelets. She also has numerous silver rings she wears, but the fingers on which they are placed vary.

Does she have any body art, you may ask? Ariel? Hell yes. She has a butterfly tattooed in black on the small of her back, just above her bottom. Around her upper arm is another black tribal tattoo. She has a daisy with a lady bug on the back of her neck, and some symbols tattooed in black on the inside of her right wrist. Of course, she doesn't have a major tattooing problem, she just loves them.

Personality:

The spring equinox, March 21, is the beginning of the new zodiacal year and Aries, the first sign, is therefore that of new beginnings. The young ram is adventurous, ambitious, impulsive, enthusiastic and full of energy. Ariel is a pioneer both in thought and action, very open to new ideas and a lover of freedom. She welcomes challenges and will not be diverted from her purpose except by her own impatience, which will surface if she does not get quick results.

Ariel is a courageous leader with a genuine concern for those she commands, being a responsible person, it is rare that she will use her subordinates to obtain her own objectives as a leader, but occasionally it does happen. She does not make a very good follower because she is too "take charge". Ariel may be unwilling to obey or submit to directions for which she can see no reason, or with which she disagrees. She is much concerned with self, both positively and negatively - self-reliant but also self centered (sometimes) and concerned with their own personal advancement and physical satisfaction. Their immense energy makes them aggressive and restless, argumentative occasionally, headstrong, quick tempered, easily offended and capable of holding grudges if she feels herself affronted.

In her personal relationships Ariel is frank, direct and candid, and makes enthusiastic and generous friends. She is liable to have a high sex drive and make a passionate but fastidious lover. There is, however, a negative side to her associations with other people. She can easily be irritated by slowness or moderation in her companions and, though she is sensitive, ride roughshod over the sensitivities of others. The intensity of her sexual urges can drive her to promiscuity and a Don Juan-like counting of conquests of the opposite sex. It can also trick Ariel into early unwise marriage which may end disastrously. Ariel is highly devoted to her children, even to the point of laying down her own life, so that they might live. You will not find a more defensive and loving parent.

It is preferable that she be aware of her pioneering spirit and not disregard it. For in acknowledging it she not only enjoy life more, but she avoids being pushed around by others. Ariel's nature is usually push or be pushed, with little middle ground. This can at times be objectionable to others, but she must have the freedom to act, rather then just thinking about it, getting pent-up in the process. At all costs she needs to avoid negative emotions such as resentment, regret and self-pity, for they would deny her what is essential to her nature: straightforwardness.

Mentally Ariel is intellectual and objective, but can be in rare situations bigoted and an extremist in religion and politics. She is a good champion of lost causes and last-ditch resistance. She is quick-witted but sometimes foolhardy and over optimistic, lacking thoroughness and the ability to evaluate difficulties in the undertakings into which she often rushes impulsively. The great need of Ariel is to exercise an iron self-control, to discipline the qualities and tendencies of her character to the advantage, not the detriment, of the society in which she moves.

Ariel likes a challenge that will stir her to action. This challenge may just be frustration; or at a more controlled level, she may have clear direction and know what or whom she is fighting for. If her direction is not clear, then she will ask herself and listen to her inner voice. Ariel will come up with an answer. Without a direction in which to go, or a without a cause to fight for, Ariel would be against her nature and make her more a "sheep" than a ram!

The woman is not afraid to be forceful, for this is the very core of her nature. If she feels fear in her heart, then she looks for a history of negative events in her personal history, such as violence or abuse from others. Being fearful may also indicate a household in childhood that negated independence and personal initiative in Ariel. This could have inhibited her natural urge to go forward into life as the leader and champion she was born to be. Conversely, such bad influences could also have led her to be overly forceful, or to be unsympathetic to her own need and sensitivity.

Ariel would make a good athlete and climber, doctor, explorer (of new ideas as well as uncharted territory, the latter in these days including adventuring into outer space), soldier, sailor and airman, and leader, though awkward subordinates, in industry and politics.

Much as she is the Ram, there is still the little lamb in her, which means that at times Ariel would attain her goals more easily by gently giving in without resistance to the demands of a given social situation, rather than getting her horns entangled in something larger and more powerful than herself. This is a talent akin to knowing the difference between what she can change, and what she cannot. This of course takes patience, the acquiring of which is definitely Ariel's greatest achievement, along with her sense of her own inner softness.

Paris Triton was born to Sarah and Leon Triton. Due to his last name, he developed an obsession for Mythology as well as Disney. His best friend and girlfriend, Ursula Lemnos, had developed a similar addiction. The two were a match made in heaven and did positively everything together. By eighteen, the two were married, having been engaged through-out high school. On their wedding night their first daughter was conceived. At first they hadn't intended on naming her after a Disney character, it just happened. In fact, they didn't even notice until three years later Ursula was pregnant again with their second daughter. That's when they decided after this second daughter, they would have five more, all named after the daughters of King Triton from The Little Mermaid. Yeah, they were a weird family, but hey, what do you expect from two people who got jobs at Disney Land as Aladdin and Princess Jasmine?

Now, this is the part of the history that our young girl comes in. Ariel. The last of the seven daughters. During the birth, her mother died. This, perhaps, might be the reason Ariel's so close to her father. She almost feels as if it's her fault the love of her father's life was taken from him. Another thing that might have contributed to her being so close was that she was the only one of all of her sisters that developed an obsession with Disney. She rather liked the fact she was named after Princess Ariel. In fact, for the past few years she had actually been considering dying her hair red. But right now we're not on the present or not too far off past. Right now we're in her childhood. Most of it was uneventful. However, as you know, everyone has at least one turning point in their lives. Ariel's just happened to come a lot sooner.

When she was just ten years old, she and her aunt were at the park. It was getting late and they were about to leave, when a group of mutants showed up. Apparently they were invading their 'turf'. Ariel's aunt tried to get Ariel out of there, but one of the mutants soon knocked her unconscious. Ariel wasn't sure what was going on, but she remembered begging them to spare her and her aunt. Unfortunately, she was in the middle of her begging when there was an audible crack, and Ariel was on the ground. They had broken her neck, and left her for dead. Even Ariel isn't quite sure how she survived, but there was one thing for sure. They had permanently damaged her vocal cords and she would never speak again. The doctors said there wasn't even a chance of it.

Over the next few weeks the police were doing an investigation. Wondering how her father and sisters knew to find them where they were. They didn't say the real reason on how they knew. Instead they just told the police that when people were as close as they were, you just knew when something was wrong. What really alerted them was Ariel. When she had been on her way to blackness in her head, within her head she cried for her father and her sisters... and they heard her. As time went on, the family found it wasn't a one time thing. Sure, they were grateful they could talk to Ariel again and hear her voice, but with the way mutants were treated these days was terrible, and they loved Ariel and didn't want anything to happen. So, they decided to help her hone her abilities and to keep them a secret. Only her family and her closest of friends know what she is.

Now it's ten years down the road. Ariel's telepathy has really come along, and only once and a while does it lose control. She's worked around her inability to speak with other people who don't know about her. Sometimes she'll use her telepathy but move her lips like she's actually talking, but only with complete strangers. And not for long, either. Ariel has a job, and is still in school... but there's just one little thing wrong now. She has a new ability and has no idea how to control it. It's a fairly new ability and it only comes out when she's really angry. So, naturally, her family has witnessed it. Fortunately for her, she has extremely good control over her temper when around complete strangers. The only people who can make her angry enough for her new ability to come out is her family. Not necessarily a good thing, but family's family.
