[ T H E L O O K ]
Portrayal by: James Roday.
Overall appearance: Darcy has an average hair length. His hair is a darkish brown colour that is often all swept across to the right when not having to wear his helmet. All Bounty Hunters are issued with gear to protect them from most threats. The gear is usually a dark slate colour and rather heavy, but only needs to be worn when on duty. When off duty, Darcy wears brighter clothing with shorter sleeves when it’s warm. When it’s cold he wears hooded sweaters over the top. During formal meetings, he does wear what expected, though wouldn’t if he had the choice. Dark blue or black jeans are his usual leg-wear. You’ll rarely find him wearing anything else.

[ P E R S O N A L I T I E S ]
Personality: When around friends, family, colleagues, he’s a happy, humorous guy. During his job, he’s willing to put his life on the line to save a friend. During his job, he can’t be the kind of guy he is when he’s at home. When he’s with friends, he’s laid back and loveable. You can’t lay back when you’re hunting down mutants. Darcy hates mutants with a strong belief they should be wiped out, after the incident (see history). This does come in handy with his occupation as you need to be willing to attack a mutant when taking on the job. However, one of his weaknesses is he’s an extremely flirtatious man. Any woman he finds attractive he would attempt to hit on. Especially when drunk. Then they wouldn’t even need to be attractive. Hell, it could be a coat rack. When he’s angry, it’s as though he becomes an entirely different person. He seems to store up a lot of his anger and then releases it in large explosions of fury. He tries his best to use it as an advantage against the mutants, but family and friends do often see the worst of him.
Likes: Drink, women, his weapons, helping the government, drink and women, getting bought drinks, his apartment.
Dislikes: Mutants, a lack of drink, a lack of women, death.
Fears: Death of friend or family member, large mutant uprising, heights, enclosed spaces.
Habits: Scratching the back up his head, stuttering when confused, nail-biting.
Hobbies: Mutant hunting, boxing, jogging, reading.

Other: Daughter: Anna O’Sullivan.

Elizabeth and Gregory had first met when they were fifteen, in high school. The two actually disliked one another for a short while, throwing things at one another and generally ignoring the other in the hallways. When a school dance was coming up, however, Gregory surprisingly asked Elizabeth to it. Even more surprisingly she said yes. The two went out for a few years, breaking up for a month or two over a small and then getting back together. When they had left school, both of them now twenty-three, they were due to get married in a year’s time. Their parents didn’t exactly agree, but they didn’t care. That was how they both were; they didn’t care about what other people thought of them.

A few years later, they’d had two young daughters, Lydia and Jessica, two years apart. Gregory, however, did want a young boy. Elizabeth didn’t argue. She agreed almost instantly to the idea. Elizabeth and Gregory could afford it, basically. Gregory worked for the government whenever he wanted, doing as much or a little during the day as he needed to. He could work on the computer from home if he had no meetings for the day and he earned a large pay-check. Nine months later came Darcy O’Sullivan. The young boy had a thin layer of dark hair, though was smaller than expected of him. Next thing Gregory knew, he had another baby girl as well. About six minutes later who was also small, though bigger than her brother. Gregory and Elizabeth raised the four children well inside their quite large home, though the twins had to share a room for a few years before Darcy asked to move into the basement when he was fourteen.

A year after moving into the basement, Darcy met Bridget Granger, a girl who had moved to Queens after living in Fresno, California. Darcy first saw her at school, in his History class when she was sat on the opposite side of the room to her. Not seeing her in many of his lessons for the rest of the day, Darcy was walking on his was home with his friends before he then branched off the way he usually did, as all of his friends lived closer to school than he did, when he then heard footsteps clicking loudly behind him. Glancing behind he noticed Bridget had caught up to him and it turned out the two were apparently neighbours.

Over the next year, Darcy and Bridget did become quite fond of one another and eventually started dating. A few months after they had first gone out, Darcy had gotten his driver’s license and drove whenever he could. He did occasionally borrow his parents’ car without asking them, though he did also borrow it after asking. Taking Bridget out one night in the car, he had no idea what he was getting himself into.

Nine months later he was a father.

But by this time he and Bridget had split up. Bridget’s parents had moved the whole family away, in fact. They wanted nothing to do with O’Sullivan’s. He spent the next few months in a vow of silence. He didn’t want to talk to anyone. He didn’t want to talk to them. He just sat in his room and read all day, occasionally taking some aggression out on his punch-bag. The aggression he took out on his punch-bag soon became a hobby in itself, with Darcy taking up boxing at a local club. Soon enough he was twice as healthy as he had been before deciding to spend his life in the basement. Usually going boxing and jogging three times a week, Darcy’s mind was now distracted by his fitness, forgetting about Bridget almost altogether. Occasionally there were times when he was reminded of her, though he tried to block the thoughts out.

A few months later, Darcy was now eighteen and didn’t often think about his past. He was also talking again, so he was returning to his normal self, as he was before the Granger’s ever moved in next door. But a knock at the door came one evening and Elizabeth answered, walking back inside with a baby-carrier and a note attached reading out loud to the family: ‘Darcy, I can’t look after her any more. We can’t afford to look after her, as well as ourselves. – Bridget.’ This was unexpected. The family now had a three month old baby and had no idea where it could sleep.

A few years later, Darcy was 20 and the baby was three years old. They had all decided to tell the child that Darcy was her brother, not her father. Though since she could barely walk or talk, they would’ve just integrated the idea into normal life as she grew older and tell her than Gregory and Elizabeth were her parents. Darcy’s father was in a meeting at his workplace one afternoon, needing to talk with colleagues about the Bounty Hunters. Unfortunately, several Brotherhood members caught wind of this meeting and raided the meeting place, killing many of the government workers including Gregory. This just sent Darcy over the edge. He had actually been training to be a Bounty Hunter, though now his effort was fuelled by anger and hatred of mutants. He eventually got the job after a rigorous training and has been working as a Bounty Hunter for the past four years, living in a different part of New York than Elizabeth and Anna.
