Well, it's been a while since anyone posted here, so here's an annoying problem I'm having, with Firefox specifically.
When I try to enter certain sites, like a webcomic called Gutters, or the gaming site of a norwegian newspaper, my laptop goes "BOOP!" and instantly freezes up. It's pretty damn annoying, because it also changes! One day it happened while I tried entering Twitter... which I can now be on without a problem. I enter the site, and after a few seconds, INSTA-FREEZE! |

I had a problem like that, apparently firefox was having a hissy fit and conflicting with plugins.
You had to change a bit of the code so it didn't notice the conflict and then it worked fine. I tried to find it in my history but no luck. Try googling around for it. |

It seems Firefox itself is the damn problem, and no one on the internet is really helpful, I also have a problem because the instructions is in english, while all my "stuff" is translated to norwegian... HOORAY! fuck it, I'm switching to either Opera or Chrome.
Firefox can now suck my taint. Edit: So I turned off "Shockwave Flash" and everything seem to be working. BUT NOW I DON'T HAVE FLASH WHAT THE HELL? Edit 2: So, it turns out, turning Flash is a really dumb idea, as it lets me watch vids over the internet. Like on youtube, THE HELL IS WRONG WITH FIREFOX? It all started after the last update. Hell, I'm not even sure if I like using Chrome, but it's so much better than firefox right now! |
