[Terion]

Arana scowled as she stood in the center of the ravaged room, wondering absently just what had bled so much to create the new crimson décor of the walls and floor. The furniture that had been in the room was lying in shattered pieces all around it - even the heavy oak coffee table had been torn to shreds. And what the hell had made the huge hole in the wall to the bedroom?

"What a fuck up," she muttered as she glanced across the remains of the living room towards the kitchen where she could see the crew from the morgue waiting on forensics to finish with the area around the woman's corpse. "I hate murder scenes."

[Wynter]

Dante pulled up to the building on his bike, he had gotten a call from his supervisor that there an been an odd murder that he needed to look into.

He walked into the kitchen as he survey the scene. There was massive amounts of blood and damage to the kitchen but there looked to be more damage done in the living room but the fight had started in the kitchen. He slowly walked the path of the blood into the living room where he saw another officer. A cute little blond. He eyed her for a moment then continued to look around the room till he noticed the huge hole in the wall to the bedroom. He thought to himself...No mortal could cause this type of damage...vampire perhaps...

He then looked towards the cute female cop..."So what do you think has happen here...?" he asked in a way to also get her name.

[Terion]

Arana turned at the sound of the voice and appreciatively eyed the dark-haired man approaching her. She didn't recognize him but if he had gotten past the officers outside, he had to be a fellow cop.

"All I can figure out is it was some kind of attack," she replied. "Maybe someone on drugs to do this much damage...even then though I'm not sure they could bust that hole in the wall. Though I've got no idea what could've bled this much and walked away - its been confirmed already it wasn't her that bled out."

She then gave him a little smirk and added, "Detective Folwns, by the way. And what would you're theory be...?" Pausing in the same way he had, she waited patiently for his answer to her question and his name.

[Wynter]

"Detective Wolfe.." he said with a slight nod at her and a smile his accent fully showing...females loved it.

"Well it wasn't just two people fighting there were at least 3. I am seeing two separate shoe prints within some of the blood stains both larger then our victim, she was also barefoot from looks of it. I am thinking two males, but it looks from it only one attacked the female and the other male was after the one attacking her. Both are extremely strong...a bit unnatural about this scene cause there is all the appearance of claw marks and animal hair plus the massive amount of damage." he said as he continued to walk the room.

[Terion]

Oooh, an accent, thought Arana as he started to walk the room. Got to love a man with an accent like that.

She nodded a few times in response to what he'd said - she'd seen most of it herself but the hair and the claw marks didn't make any sense. Back home she'd hunted enough game to know the only thing that could marks as big as that was a bear...and no bear made claw marks like that.

"Most of that I can understand," she said. "But how do you explain the animal hair? And the massive damage?"

Frowning at the pieces of the shattered coffee table again, she muttered, "What sort of man could do this?"

[Wynter]

"I am not sure myself...the hair will need to be tested to see what it came from, so will the blood." he replied to her, but inside he knew what mostly likely it was...wolfkin. But he wondered to himself what could rival a wolfkin strength and be able to survive the attack without dying.

"I am thinking we need to wait for some results before we can put this fully together..."

[Terion]

Arana grimaced at that then stepped to the side as the morgue team moved past with the filled body bag on a stretcher - obviously the forensics team had gotten done whilst she was talking to Wolfe.

"It'll be a while for any results to get back, I think," she stated sadly. "The body's in quite a mess so we won't get anything from it for a few days. Whatever forensics can get from the hair and blood should be back in less though..."

She trailed off as she looked down to see something white on the floor half hidden underneath. Crouching down, she pulled a napkin from within her coat and picked it up by the edge carefully.

[Wynter]

"Find something?" he asked as he watched her kneel down to pick something up. He walked towards her.

[Terion]

Arana nodded as she stood again, carefully flipping the card around to reveal it was some sort of business card.

"Darien O'Connell," she read aloud. "With an address and phone number....and 'Here for you when you need help with the weird''." Blinking, she looked at him and asked, "What the hell kind of business card is this?"

[Wynter]

"Sounds like a lead..." he said with a pause and then pulled a cell phone out of his pocket.

He dialed a number then said "Hey Joe..I need any and all information on a Darien O'Connell, and here his number and address. " he said as he rambled off the information from the card then said "Call me back ASAP with the information."

He then hung up the phone. "Let see if they guy has a record or anything if not have to send someone to check out the address maybe even bring him in for questioning."

[Terion]

She went to get an evidence bag from one of the still remaining forensics team while he was on the phone, leaving him with the card, and came back just as he finished talking.

"Well then," she said with a smile as she held out the bag for him to put the card into, "guess we'll be working together for a while longer. How long should it take for them to get back to you?"

[Wynter]

"Yes we will Detective..." he said with a sly grin upon his face then said.

"Joe is pretty quick but I give him a good hour or two just to make sure he find everything about our guy." he replied as he dropped the card into the evidence bag.

"Is there something you had in mind to pass the time?" he then asked her.

[Terion]

"Well I was going to grab lunch before I got the call about this," replied Arana, waving her hand around the scene. "Now I'm not so sure I want any food after getting here."

"But if it'll take an hour," she added, taking the evidence bag from him to tuck it into her coat, "food is probably the best thing to go get."

[Wynter]

"Well could I take you to lunch then while we wait?" he asked.

[Terion]

"Sure," she replied with a grin. "That works with me. But we're taking my car since I heard the motorcycle pull in right before you showed up so I'd guess it was you driving it."

[Wynter]

"You have something against motorcycles?" he said with a laugh.

[Terion]

"In these streets, yes," she replied. "I've seen too many traffic accidents involving them to ever want to get on one."

[Wynter]

"Ok, ok...but I bet you like riding on one if you gave it a chance." he said with a grin.

"Your lead detective.."

[Terion]

"Maybe," she replied with a smile, "but I'm not willing to give it a chance if you're driving it in town. Now countryside...maybe."

Turning, she walked towards the front of the house where the door had been ripped off its hinges. "My car's parked out front," she said over her shoulder as she moved through the doorway past the officer standing outside it to head towards a dark green sedan parked by the curb.

[Wynter]

Dante couldn't resist check her backside out as she walked out in front of him.

"Might have to take you up on the country ride then..." he replied as he followed her out.

[Terion]

She gave a little laugh at that as she unlocked her car doors and turned to look at him, "We'll see, we'll see. Now how about you get in the car and we figure out where to go eat?"

[Wynter]

He got into the car and buckled he seat belt as he looked over at her. "You know anywhere good around here."

[Terion]

"There's a deli two blocks away," she replied as she started the car. "That work for you?"

[Wynter]

"Sounds great" he said.

"So what department are you in?" he asked her.

[Terion]

Nodding, she checked the road carefully then pulled away from the curb, driving in the direction of the deli. After a moment she answered, "Homicide. What about you?"
