Journals Your characters can write anything they want here. But be warned. If your diary isn't put in a safe place, others may well find it. To elaborate. Leaving it, for instance, under your pillow at the Academy. Oh so original. Oh so easy to find. Leaving it in your desk at school. Just leaving it at school. Not good, people. Unless, of course, you don't mind everyone knowing your innermost feelings and secrets. NOTE: You don't /have/ to keep a journal. It's optional. But it's a way to pass time. If you don't want others writing little messages for you in your diary/telling everyone what's in it, put [closed] in the description or just leave it blank. However if you want other characters to read it/write in it or don't care, put [open]. |

Decisions, decisions -About What? Make no mistake. This is still an important decision. What will you believe? That the king - after failing to stop the Golgoths at all, is growing weaker, unable to protect or even manage those serving him. Or that the rebellion is a lost cause, drifting, that's been scattered after an ultimate truth is layed before them. |

The Academy Once a sturdy, upright, magnificent building, it is now just a ruin; morphed beyond recognition by the hurricane; trashed by the Golgoth. Kids sometimes play in it, smashing the boarded up windows, and paying no heed to the danger of it. |

The Tranquil Green Places of the City. Title says it all really. These can be parks, gardens, wild groves, stuff like that anywhere around the city. It's just easier to group them together for now. |

Streets The half caved in, rubble filled streets now bustle with more life then before. People with no homes set up camps along them. Keepers with no shops set up stalls. And all the while frantic rebuilding is going on up and down the city. |

The Towers of Decision A large, imposing building, though not quite as much as it used to be. By now, the once midnight-black stones have faded to a dull grey (gray for any Americans here). The once beautiful windows are now cracked and dusty, the paint on the walls inside peeling. Strange that all this damage has happened since the democracy was ended, even though it had stood for hundreds of years before that. Of course the top room is still there. |

The Old Sewers No longer full of rot and stink. Left untouched by hurricane and Golgoth. Now home to the Gangs and their wars. Dare you enter their turf? |

The Common Lands. This is free ground, anyone can come here, graze animals or camp or do anything. The grass has started to grow back and there are few bare patches. One part is now home to the Travelling Performers Caravans whenever they come back from going round doing shows. |

The Docks Streching along side one of the great rivers it is one of the few places to have been rebuilt to some sort of standard. |

Places of Worship The temples, the graveyards, the holy places of the old gods, the new gods, gods of the wise and the foolish,the long forgotten gods,the striving gods,the revengfull gods,the forsaken gods. The hurricane did physical and emotional damage, shaking temples and faith alike. |

Whitewood The trees, slender and tall, rise up above the cottages below, causing any passer to feel small, insignificant. A permenant layer of snow lies over the place. However, it isn't as discarded by time as it appears. To the west of the main clump of trees are a museum, hospital, and cinema. Even though some of the trees have been ripped apart, and the hospital is still almost full, it doesn't look much changed because of the hurricane. Though now, there are no groups of teenagers determinedly heading out towards the cinema, no families resolutely dragging their children out to look at the museum. No groups of kids chatting outside the school. Infact, apart from the occasional hurrying figure, there is no one out of a building. That would be the work of the Golgoth |

Newchurch The smallest of the known cities, Newchurch has was once a haven for those escaping from the hurricane. Rows of stalls had been set up for those who brought unwanted goods from their homes. Refugees shelter in homes of relatives, also there is a field that, by unspoken agreement, is still become a campsite. Tens of tents litter it, and the place is full of people dashing around for one thing or the other. It is less full from the hurricane, almost none were left from the few Golgoth there, but the ones who've come back or arrived, stay here for fear of Faelostiel's own Golgoth. |

Brigham Beautiful yet austere. The city has a mythical air about it. Its tall buildings rise up majestically, looking down at passers by with an imposing air. There is always that atmosphere, however, always the feeling that things are not quite right. The city is rumoured to be haunted and there are many stories featuring ghosts inside its boundaries. The philosopher who was, according to legend, the cleverest and wisest man alive, died here. It is told that his ghost walks the streets. This is also home to The Crying Child, which is one of the most famous, maybe the most famous, ghost story in FoF. Also passed on by, by the hurricane and the Golgoth. Maybe the Crying Child is the city's lucky charm. |

The Wilderness This place should be avoided. Home to gangs of savages and wild hell hounds, it is one of the most dangerous places to travel, especially at night. Either notted forest, dry scrub, long grass and ends either at the horizon or the hills. After it though, villages and farms do survive. |

The Mountains. Streaching far along, from before the wilderness near the cities carrying on round it to past it. The treacherous heights tower into the air, beautiful and mysterious. However, be warned; the mountains are littered with dangerous creatures. Many have ventured out into the place, and very few have came back. |
