All classes: Replace the Ride skill with the Drive skill.

d20 System SRD Base Classes:
Barbarian
- Available only to natives of Avalon and characters of at least 3rd level with a Norse bloodline. Barbarians may arise in many places, but tend to only surface in relatively cold regions such as Canada, Russia, and the former homes of the Norse.

Bard - Available only to humans who have undergone at least two years of study in a secretive bardic course tucked away in northern England. Bards are most commonly from England and western Europe.

Cleric - Available only to characters of at least 3rd level in another class who have undergone four years of training at a centuries old religious institution. Clerics are known to originate in southern Europe, northern Africa, and south-east Asia.

Druid - Available only to natives of Avalon, humans with fey bloodlines (Half-fey or Sidhe-touched characters), or characters of at least 3rd level who have undergone three years in study of Celtic mysticism with the Elder Council in Ireland and Scotland (details on this organization are forthcoming). Druids originate only from the historical Celtic lands.

Fighter - No changes. Fighters primarily arise from military and law-enforcement backgrounds.

Monk - Available only to characters of at least 3rd level who have undergone ten years of training with the monastic orders of eastern Asia. The Monk was the sole supernatural class available before the impact of Revelations. Monks tend to originate from Tibet, China, Japan, and other countries known for long-standing martial arts traditions.

Paladin - Retains the Ride skill. Loses all spellcasting. Gains a +2 bonus to Diplomacy skill checks at 6th level, 10th level, 14th level, and 18th level. Paladins are exceedingly rare, but are equally likely to exist in any region.

Ranger - Loses all spellcasting. Gains a +10-ft. base speed increase at 6th level, 10th level, 14th level, and 18th level. Rangers most often originate in rural areas among hunters, farmers, and other woodsmenly sorts.

Rogue - Loses the Use Magic Device skill. Rogues come from many backgrounds, and may be found with origins in any region.

Sorcerer - Available only to humans with fey bloodlines (Half-fey or Sidhe-touched characters). Sorcerers and the races they spring from are most often found in the former Celtic regions and the north-eastern United States.

Wizard - Available only for those from Risen Atlantis, or those who have undergone at least two years of training from an Atlantis native. Wizards only originate in Atlantis or with the aid of a trained wizard from Atlantis. Arcane schools have not yet been founded among the mundane humans.

d20 SRD Psionics Base Classes:
Psionics are available to characters of 2nd level or greater from any region of the world. Psionic ability has been found to appear spontaneously with little in common to cause it.

Veghinix Setting Base Classes:
Enforcer
- Loses the Use Magic Device skill. Enforcers typically originate from street gangs in cities with high crime rates.

Angelus, Dracophage, Infernus - Unavailable in this setting.

Character Class Defense Bonus
Risen Myths is a very low magic setting for the most part. Enchanted armors, magical protection, and the like are not readily available, and so magic does not scale the armor class of characters. Each character class gains a defense bonus to armor class to compensate for the lack of common place magical items as shown on the table below.
This bonus stacks with armor, shield, natural armor, dodge bonuses, and Dexterity bonuses, but not with enhancement bonuses gained from magical armor or shields. If a bonus is in use that does not stack, use the higher of the two numbers.

Martial: Barbarian, Enforcer, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Psychic Warrior, Ranger
Religious: Cleric, Druid
Skilled: Bard, Rogue
Mystic: Psion, Sorcerer, Wizard, Wilder
