Fir Canyon THE BREEDING PLACE. A fire had once swept through this section of Vian Valley and destroyed all life. But now, wolves come here to bring new life. This place is inaccesible to humans and far away from disease-ridden lands, and therefore very safe.

Ash Trails These are trails that lead all over the valley. Backpackers and picnickers use these all the time, because the main trail ends at a small meadow with a beautiful view of the valley. Even wolves like to frequent the less-known trails; it’s one of the easier ways to move around the valley.

Ionice Canyon This is literally the lowest part of Vian Valley. It is a luscious area, filled to the brim with life. Most of the land not inhabited by tree-covered hills are marshlands, though, since all the rainwater flows down into the Canyon.

Dragon's Cave The cave gets so dark you can barely see the farther you go in, and freezing cold water drips from the ceilings, victims to the fog that roll down from the mountains and clings to the roofs of the cave. A wind from the west that often blows into the cave makes an odd moaning sound, or a distance roar... or it often could be considered breathing... so, people have nicknamed it the 'Dragon's Cave', for it's many 'dragon-like' qualities.

Diablo Forest Once home to a large herd of wild horses, the Diablo forest is as wild as it ever was. Several areas have been tamed and are very pleasant to walk through... but ever since the herd of horses and their leader, Diablo, left, the heart of the forest is overgrown and wild. Some even say that the heart of the herd leader is still within the forest, as free and untamable as ever.

Foggy Peak Foggy Peak is located closest to the human city of Wellford. It borders one of the disease-ridden lands, and therefore the pack must be careful with its borders. The area is very rocky, with the base of the mountains covered in forests. There are very few open spaces, except for the plateaus of the area. In the mornings, steam from the Lazing River winding through the territory rises and covers the mountains in a fog – hence the name Foggy Peak. Forum Led by: Ginny |

Lazing River This winding river starts on a mountain far to the west, in the dreaded disease-ridden land. But by the time the water makes it into the valley, it's gone through many natural filters and is pure. The river is usually slow-moving unless there's been a storm. Forum Led by: Ginny |

Everest Plateau A flat-topped peak in Foggy Peak. On this flat area is a meadow with beautiful multi-colored flowers. They only bloom in summer, though. The stars can be seen dimly at night, but the lights from Wellford City are usually too bright and too close to see especially clear. Forum Led by: Ginny |

Westerly Caverns While walking by a section of the Lazing River one can see a sparkle coming from rocks. These are the Westerly Caverns; blocked off for years, stunning gems and winding caverns go on under the mountains for such a far distance no one has explored them all. The entrance is hard to find for even pack members and is a safe haven for the pack to go if ever attacked... provided no one gets lost. Forum Led by: Ginny |

Hallowed Falls Hallowed Falls is the most secluded out of all the packs. It is located in the middle of Vian Valley, on top of an enormous plateau. The Lazing River continues its course through the territory, flowing down into the Falls, for what the pack is named for. There are a lot of small game, but since its located on the plateau that’s about all there is. Forum Led by: Lea, Tanner |

The Falls Flowing from the Lazing River, this is the majestic Falls that the pack is named after. The falls fall a graceful 60 feet to a pool at the bottom. There is a very secret and concealed path leading to the dens behind it, and the river continue on through the pool. Forum Led by: Lea, Tanner |

Rushing Forest The trees in the Hallowed Falls territory always seem to be leaning slightly one way: south. Particularly in one area. So the wolves dubbed the area Rushing Forest, because it always seems they're rushing south. Forum Led by: Lea, Tanner |

Sparrow Bay Hidden from human eyes and rarely ever seen, Sparrow Bay could barely be consider a 'bay'. Found close by the Rushing Forest in the Hallowed Falls pack land and surrounded by trees, a small sandy cove leads up to the sparkling water. It's so clear you can see the multi-colored rocks covering the bottom. You can easily walk the perimeter of the bay, but it's still a beautiful little spot to swim or sit on the small beach. Reddened Creek A run-off of the Lazing River, this river is more like a creek. It picks up dirt from the red canyons around it as it travels down into the Barren Hollows territory, so the water always looks slightly red, like it was tinged with blood. It is one of the only water sources for the pack, and despite how shallow and small it is, it never runs dry. Forum Led by: Scuro |

Inferno Plains A fire had once broken out on a section of Vian Valley that had been teeming with life. It killed everything in the area. When the Barren Hollows pack came upon the area, they christened it "Inferno Plains" and added it to their domain. Now there is nothing but some scraggly bushes and burned landscape for a good distance. Animals and plants are very, very slowly making their way back into the area. Forum Led by: Scuro |

Swirling Swamp Formed after decades of overflowing water from Reddened Creek, the land in this area is often muddy with small sinkholes and almost quick-sand like areas. There are numerous safe paths through and around the area, but there are also plenty of ways to get stuck. It's dangerous; wolves and humans alike are advised to travel in pairs, lest you be sucked in and never get out... Forum Led by: Scuro |

Wellford City Well, more like a large town than a city. Situated at the top of Vian Valley, this is usually the last place wolves must pass through before entering the Valley. It contains many things a city would... except easy transportation. People mostly arrive and leave by bus, unless you plan on walking. The Neighborhoods are also located here.

Market Street Aptly named. When the town first started a hundred years ago, all the shops were located on this street. And it hasn’t changed a bit – except maybe the types of stores. This is where you get all your shopping done.

Simon's Park All the park really is a fenced-in area with lots of trees, a path, and some picnic tables, though lots of people love to come here. It’s fenced in to keep children from wandering into the wilderness, but many of the town’s teenagers have made secret ways to get through it.

Darworth's Tavern In the years prosperous, when Wellford City was actually considered a city and people used it as a large trade center, Darworth's Tavern was respectable and huge. It is still respectable, though small... during the day. A small cafe and bookstore resides here, with the bar converted to a family-friendly gathering place. After 9 p.m., both the evil and party-lovers come here to dance, drink, and generally have a good time. You can only be over 19 to come in then, but there are plenty of ways to sneak past the guards.

Abandoned Buildings These rather large abandoned buildings were once occupied by the scientists. But since they’ve cleared out, the people of Wellford use these buildings for all sorts of things. Even the wolves can find uses for these buildings, since they’re spread out all over the place.

Revered Saints Church and Cemetary When the town was first founded a century ago, there was a cult-like religion known as the 'Revered Saints', pioneers that worshipped different Saints for all eternity, even offering their lives. The religion soon died out, but this run-down old church and cemetary was the first in the area and claims to be haunted by the spirits of these pioneers. Old enourmous pillars of the Saints hold up the sagging roof, and various Saints are scattered throughout the ancient graveyard, offering prayers or preaching to the dead. This place is a favorite haunt for the evil and the members of Barren Hollows that dare to walk among the people. Tread with care after dark.

The Street What locals call 'The Street' is a small path of railroad tracks that carry cargo on occasion. The Street passes along the shore of a once-major river system that used to be used for shipping in its heyday for roughly 20 miles. Most of The Street is supposedly "haunted". Spirits tend to target those walking along the ties for a bit of spooking or help. Though no one knows why The Street is haunted or IF it's really haunted, adults and kids alike love to come and investigate to see if they might catch a glimpse of the many ghosts.

No Wolf's Land Right after the disease swept through the lands outside Vian Valley, the feral wolves were so numerous in this area the city council had to lift the 'No Hunting Allowed' ban on this stretch of land. Even after the feral wolves were run off, the restriction hasn't been put back on, and those that hate all wolves for fear they're feral enjoy shooting anything that passes. It's almost suicide for a wolf to walk through in their native form, and even human form can sometimes be dangerous.

The Carnival Way back when, gypsies traveled the lands in moving carnivals. Some of those leftover structures can still be seen. The carnival is a little run-down, but many of the townspeople work to keep it running. There are some old rides, a few booths, and an old ferris wheel that goes just above the treetops so you get a moderately good view of the Valley.

Area 98 Military Base A rather small base compared to most cities probably to accomodate the small town; no orders have come to this base in many a year except individual assignments. It's mainly used as a training center for any military official who happens to be living in or passing through Wellford.

International Sector If there are any places you'd like to rp in other than Vian Valley, this would be the place to do it. If your character takes a vacation to Hawaii, or has to fly to England on business, now you have the opportunity to role-play in those areas; just make a topic and start role-playing away! This section is for any countries not listed in the forums.
