Macca the Magnificent - Editor Group: Moderator Posts: 82 Member No.: 289 Joined: 15-August 08	Looking for E.O.I's about an Oziexplorer training night some time in the near future. Depending on attendee's locations, we might take over the 4b Fabrications factory for an evening. We'll start with the real basic Ozi stuff (turning on the Moving Map etc), and go through the multiple datums thing (ie 37d 47m 22.2 (AGD66) / 58254768 (WGS84)), and then do projections etc. If you can lay your hands on a copy of Robert Pepper's GPS Vehicle Navigation in Australia book, it helps to explain a lot of the fundamentals which helps understanding what your GPS/Ozi is doing, and why.. Personally, I think the hardest part of a Nav event is a stickmap.. Hands up if you're interested: 1: Muffin & Buckers 2: -------------------- '90 GQ. 4", 33's & lights..
