We all know the general ins and outs of werewolves, but as this sight is solely my creation, here is some help into understanding the were's here.
Werewolves: The definition of a werewolf is the ability for a human to change their shape into a wolf. Well the were's here can do that, but with some... differences. Here we allow both Born werewolves and Bitten werewolves. Hopefully these descriptions will answer any questions.
Born: A born werewolf is exactly what it sounds like. They are the offspring of one parent who is a werewolf, the other human, an imprinted pair. As the mortality rate among werewolves is rather low, there is no chance a born werewolf will have two parents who are were's.
Physical attributes.: Born were's have the ability to change into a wolf from a very young age. If they do not show signs of being able to change by the time they are 5 years old, they are what is called Latent. They might be a little stronger than a regular human, but they will not be able to shift into a wolf. Born were;s are definitely stronger then humans, up to four times stronger depending on the sex. Males of course will always be stronger than females. They are even stronger when they are in their wolf forms. And some are able to take three different shapes.
Wolf: Looks like a regular Timber wolf. They range in size, sometimes as large as a grizzly bear, and some as small as a coyote. Their colors are typical gray or brown. Black and white werewolves are rare. There is maybe three black wolves in the US and one white. White is always female, but black can be male or female.
Hybrid: This is a form between human and wolf. Limbs are elongated. Face has the characteristics of a wolf, with a short muzzle. It looks exactly like it sounds. Its a wolf; its a man. Hey its both.
Wolfman: (Or woman) This form is the most difficult to achieve. It can be up to four sizes larger then the human form. Stronger, it looks like a bipedal wolf. The chest is larger, limbs much more powerful. It is a form that the soldiers of the pack can accomplish with training, and of course intense concentration. Only the Enforcers and the Pack's Alpha can take this shape with ease. Only one female can take on this shape. Any others, the best they can do is the hybrid shape
The full moon: Born Werewolves are not affected by the pull of the full moon. The young were's might feel the urge, but they are not bound by the full moon to change. They are able to shift between their wolf and human shape with ease. The other forms, The hybrid form is difficult.. the wolf man form, nearly impossible to a few..
Bitten: Bitten werewolves are exactly what it sound like. They are humans who have been bitten and survived the change. Very few humans actually survive the change which is why there aren't very many bitten were's. Their ability to change shape is actually very painful for them as it is something that is not natural to them, nor is it natural to their physiology. After they have changed from either wolf to human, and vice versa... unless they have a very strong constitution, it can exhaust them leaving them vulnerable to attack. It is wise for a bitten were to join a pack as their condition leaves them susceptible to attack by other weres as well as hunted by fanatics who wish to rid the world of were's Very few females survive the change of being bitten <See Admin for permission..
Physical Attributes: Bitten were's can be as strong as a born were, but with limitations. Their stamina is not as strong. With conditioning, they can change that, but they will never be as strong as a born were. They are also limited to one form; the wolf. They cannot make the change to Hybrid, or wolfman. They can not have children that are born were's. Their children, if they have any, will always be human even if their mate is a born were. Unless they are imprinted, then their children will be a born were. But their mate must be a human, and not a were. Males are more likely to become a bitten then a female, as females are not usually strong enough physically to survive being bitten Please discuss this with an Admin, we would be more then willing to help you out.
Wolf Color: They are always gray or brown.
The Full Moon: Bitten were's are susceptible to the full moon and will change from human to wolf. If they are with a pack, they are kept safe during the three nights that the moon will affect them. If they are not... they are susceptible to being hunted, and worse, killed.
Humans
Humans. They are exactly what they are. Some may have blue eyes and blond hair. Others, green eyes and red hair. So, they are pretty much everyday average folk.
Pack Humans: Pack humans are very cherished among the packs. As it is their blood that helps keep the born werewolf species going. without them, the species would die off.
Non-Pack Humans: Those humans who are aware of the packs are respected. Those humans who are oblivious... they would have absolutely no idea that the guy standing next to him turns furry once a month.
Otherwise... if you play a human, its a human.
If you are playing a were that is born, but has never changed, they will be affected by these emotions and will react more like a bitten then a born. And they will be restricted to one form besides their human form until they can master their emotions. And yes they will be affected by a full moon. Any questions feel free to PM an admin.
