As this sight is predominantly werewolf, there are other were species. But there are restrictions.

Werecat: A very rare species as there are less then 500 in the world. They are always born, as bitten never survive the change. They need to breed with other werecats in order to keep the species alive, as they are very rare anyways.. there is always a 90% chance that the offspring will NOT be a born were. . Their senses are highly acute, and most are very sexual in nature. They exude sexuality. They can also take only one form, and that is of whatever cat species they are. They are NOT Affected by the full moon. Found all over the world.

Adendum: Werecats can now be affected by an Imprint. Also if you choose to play a werecat, please create a werecat based upon geographical region. This means if you choose to create an American Werecat.. you cannot have say a cheetah, a lion or a tiger. Those species are not native to the US. Panther, any of the large exotic cats please make them from the region they are from, or transplanted say their parents were from the country that large cats are native to.

Also with Werecats now being able to Imprint.. they can imprint with a cat of their same species. So no cross species unless you PM and admin and discuss it with them. Werecats CAN imprint with the human offspring, or decendant of a werecat. But... the only way a cub will be born is only through an imprint, and if they have twins, one will be human, one will be were. And they will always share a special bond.

Hybrids: If you choose to make a hybrid... IE A lion/Tiger= Liger, or a Tiger/Lion= Tigon. These are very rare and only created in a lab. At this moment we have 1 Liger. They are larger than both the lion and tiger were.. and CAN take on several different forms. A lion, A tiger, a mix and a cat/humanoid. Imprints with them are very rare.. and usually only with a human. PM An admin if you want to create one of these. They are also affected by the full moon, but do not need to shift like a wolf or a bitten does. They will usually be very cranky, angry, or sexually active during these times. As they are hybrids.. they do need to be in their cat form at least once a month.. or more. Can be found anywhere, but are extremely rare.

Werebear: Common only in Canada and some of the northwestern United States, they are still very rare. Usually only female, there are maybe 5 males in the entire world. They can range in species, but again, are usually only female. Some werewolf packs are blessed to call a she-bear ally.. as they are gentle creatures often nurturing. But if you piss one off... They are NOT Affected by the full moon. Cannot be made by being bitten. Rare. One or Two in the US and Canada. More are found in Russia and the eastern European countries.

Wererat: The most common of the were species they are also the most abundant. The offspring of two wererat parents, they are almost always thieves, and or gypsies. They never stay in one place for too long. They ARE affected by the full moon, but can over time learn to control the change. Botten can be made which will be affected, but the bitten will never have control of the change. Found all over the world.

Wereraven:{or Crow) Only of native American decent, <one parent can be full, half or even partially of native blood>they are the shaman or a record keeper of the were species. Usually oracles, reader of signs... they are solitary creatures. Often the mediators when there is a dispute among the packs, they are very wise, and respected .Very Rare. They tend to be history teachers, records clerks.. people who record things with any media they can get their hands on. They often have a pet raven as their companion, though were's rarely, if ever have pets. They are affected by the imprint and can imprint with any were's species. But there is a 50/50 chance that the child will be either Raven, or what the other mate is. Never 100% that the child will be raven. This can also skip generations as long as one ancestor was raven. They can also metamorph. Their face into that of a raven, their arms into wings. They can also call upon other bird s of the corvid genus as their helpers, warriors, or their eyes. They are NOT Affected by the full moon. At this time we will allow only one male and one female. Cannot be made by being bitten. Found in the US and Canada, Europe, Eastern Europe, The Scandanavian countries.

Werereptile: (Snake, lizard etc...) Always of Asian decent. Very rare as there are only three known in the world. They are NOT Affected by the full moon or the imprint. Cannot be made by being bitten. Found in Asian countries based upon their folklore.

Werefox: Also of Japanese decent. This comes from the Kitsune myth in Japan. Usually tricksters, and also very cunning.. Loyal, as long as they get what they want. Born of two werefox parents or the parent has a werefox in their ancestry and usually have a twin. NOT Affected by the full moon. Cannot be made by being bitten. Found in the United States, Japan and China.
Werehyena: Of Middle Eastern or African decent only. They are usually the "muscle" of most underground illegal groups. Rare, and always created by being bitten. They are unpredictable, and usually slightly insane. They don't all going into illegal activity, but are more inclined to take jobs as a Bodyguard, a bouncer. Something where their muscle is intimidated, and they get the job done. They ARE Affected by the full moon and will change. Can only be made by being bitten, but will allow one born. Found only in the middle east and some in the United States. See Admin.

Weregator: While not so common, they can be born, and bitten. If an ancestor in the family was a weregator... it can skip many generations before showing up again. While they are colder then humans and other weres, they are usually the brute squad. With eyes usually green, or hazel, they are very intimidating. Can be made by being bitten, but their control as a bitten is hard to keep. Bitten are affected by the full moon, but born are not. They are affected by the imprint, with a human only, and when they do have children, it is not always a guarantee that their offspring will be a born weregator. Found on the United States, Africa and Australia. See Admin.

New Species
Werejackal: The rarest of the were races, they are ONLY found in the Middle East, predominantly Egypt. They are creatures of myth, as they do resemble the Egyptian God of the afterlife, Anubis. They can be either male or female and are only born as they are affected by the imprint. They cannot imprint with any other were species. They can imprint with another werejackal or a human. They have three forms, their human form, the Anubis headed human and the jackal. And they are only red, brown or black in colour. See Admin if you have any other questions.
