Philip Pullman - The Northern Lights Trilogy.

The three books document the adventures of Lyra and Will. Will is in our world and Lyra is in a very similair, but less advanced and politically and geographically different (i.e france may cover more land). Lyra and Will recreate Adam and Eve. Will is introduced in the second book and they join up, developing a brother-sister type relationship until Lyra is taken and Will goes after her. I don't want to reveal any more, but there are some deep Philosophical meanings as well as a frank insight into puberty's effect on the soul and love, etc.

They're definitely worth reading.

They sound quite intresting, might look them up some time and look further into them to see all the details lol. Thinking about it I haven't really read a good book for about 7 year's, well in free will that is, I mainly just read text books and those kinds of things but thats but because I'm strange lol.

The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, and here goes a really complicated explaination =p.

Ok this is one of those book series tha spans like 10 books... so it's really hard to explain such a complicated (Yet reallly good plotline) but here I go. The book tells the adventures of Rand al'Thor and his friends from a small town in a place called the two rivers. Now at first Rand believes he is just a small town sheperder, but the appearacne of Moiraine, an Aes Seadi (basically a sorceress) turns his life upside down and he soon discovers that he is a ta'veren, a person that can bend the world around him. This turth through the series begins to spread out and he discovers that he is more than just a regular taveren but the fabled Dragon Reborn.

ANd I'll stop there before I give out too much.

As a huge fan of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and Anne Rice, I'll read basically anything by them (unless it's some of Anne Rice's more provocative stuff published under her nom de plume Anne Rampling and AN Roquelaure).

However, a particular favourite series of mine is The Kiesha'Ra by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. So far there are only 3 books in it with a new one coming out this fall. It's about seperate kingdoms in a world of anthros/shapeshifters that try to bond together despite years of war. It's difficult to explain well, but it's really worth checking out.

I'm a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fan, but I've also recently read Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett. Both are very humorous, energetic books, and I'd recommend them to anyone wanting a good laugh.

*giggle* Before I start, I edited the topic title. Untiled-16.jpg

-Edited-

Well, I'm a bit of the bookworm, and I like a lot. The Chronicles of Narnia, THOROUGHBRED, Pony Pals, Stable Club...etc. Most of them are horses, and Fantasy books. Currently Narnia is my commonly most read. Unttled-7.jpg
