XEvolution is an X Men RPG and Fan Board. We are one of the most active boards out there dealing with X Men Evolution, The movies and a touch of the comics.

By reading this and agreeing to join XEvo, you agree to follow these terms; that you are at least 13 years old or older. You also agree to respect all staff members and you shall not and WILL not flame ANY member at ANY time. By agreeing to these terms you will not attempt any hack or claim anything that is Libel without ANY proof towards any member including staff on this forum. By registering an account, you agree to these terms and will not hold XEvo responsible for anything that happens while you are online that is within this board.

Who we were before...

On august 1st 2004, our board which had 81 members and over 9,500 posts was hacked. We banned these unruly members and recovered our board. The next day, upon signing in, our board was DELETED by ANOTHER hacker because of disgruntled topics. Half of these might have not been true. Nonetheless... our board has now been rebuilt. We have lost our topics and characters, along with any registered members. You now must re-register and re-post your character. We are truly sorry.

BOARD RULES

Here are the rules of this RPG, abide by them or I will ban you without notice!
I added a big one here... if you don't make your character or play within two weeks of signing up them I will delete your account.
Another big one... by signing up you AGREE that you are at least 13...if your not, that is your responsibility, not mine...there is some explicit material here, efforts will be made to warn the reader beforehand.

ALSO! When registering your character... you MUST post your age. Be honest because I have ways of finding out you have lied, if I find out you WILL be banned without notice

1. No flaming... I have seen so much of this and I am so sick of it. Flaming is harassing someone, calling them names, putting them down, etc. I don't care if it's just RPGing in character but OOC (out of character) will NOT be tolerated! We have had problems with this and we are seriously coming down on this!

2. Cursing WILL happen on this board, I won't control it so if you’re not mature enough to handle it... then leave.

3. R rated stuff and other things above R will happen on this board occasionally, bloody missions and very descriptive things will be posted... so if you laugh at the word "booty" we don't want you.

4. Don't double post. I've seen this too, if you double post by accident that's okay, but if I see you do it every thread I will delete your posts and possibly ban your account.

5. Please be active at least once a week. I've seen people sign up and not play at all, if that be the case I WILL delete your account.

6. Don't god play your character! You have to lose once in a while, your character can be strong or weak or whatever I don't care... you just can't be invincible.

7. You are allowed seven player characters, two of which have to be canon characters, per section (XME and XMM are the sections) and one account only, you are allowed to play someone else's NPC with THEIR permission.

8. If someone says something you don't like, don't have WWIII over it...

9. You are allowed a maximum of TWO NPC's...(non playing characters) per section (XME or XMM).

10. If a post or topic becomes an argument I will close the whole post, if you RE POST I will ban your account. I am serious on flaming, don't do it because I will just ban you without warning.

11. Obey all moderators and Admins. There are 6 admins and 1 moderators. If you back talk to anyone, or break any rules and they ask you not to and you still do it then I will BAN your account forever.

12. (NEW RULE) Please do not jump into topics and post things that do not relate to the topic. This is claiming the topic as your own and is very annoying.

13. ALSO! Spelling and grammar is a must... if I can't understand you or your too lazy to make the "I" big and not like "i" this, then leave.

14. You are allowed to have your own opinion and if you aren’t agreeing with what a fellow RPer, a Mod or an Admin is saying do report this, we encourage freedom of speech here.

15. Be there for your fellow RPer, the world is already covered in all sorts of problems, if you feel like you can help someone them do so...if you'll need help with something or you need to talk to someone...don't forget that we're here for you...sometimes its easier to talk to a stranger remember?

16. No admin or mod has the right to tell any member they cannot post in any topic or any place in the RPG without Shadow's consent or good reason! Every member has the right to post in ANY topic they wish unless it is stated otherwise.


Respecting us!

On this board, we do take respect heavily. Here are the Administrators/Mod's you MUST respect:

This board is mainly owned by myself.. I started it in Feb 11 of 2004. But after it was deleted we ALL started to rebuild it. This board is owned by all! The board leaders all own this board to make it a happy place, but I am the only one allowed to pull the plug, which will NEVER happen. On August 1 2004, we had major problems with some members... the board was hacked and some of it destroyed. But we survived... built it back up...

I (shadow) was bashed, flamed... pushed over the edge by three members which we banned. I would like to get one thing straight... my character Roxy was not stolen... and I will continue to RP her the way she is... so back off and get over it. As for the markers... I said I was sorry... deal done.. back off on that.

On August 3rd 2004, our board was erased by another hacker. But we gained it back, rebuilt.. and cannot be brought down no matter what. So try what you will... we are here to stay.

Rated RPG and Topic Rules:

As everyone knows, this RPG is rated pg-13 and above. This means cursing, blood/gore and yes even those love scenes are found in the RPG, here's the rules... please abide by them.

Any cursing, blood or gore that is R and below may be posted regularly in topics if the reader is warned before hand and the font color is slightly blended in with the background color, any posts that are or could be offensive to our younger memebrs, or whatever in that stage *MUST* be posted in the 16+ RPG forum... if you do not abide by this I will suspend your account. This forum is password protected and only 16+ may view it. Please do not ask the leader for permission for these forums... she will set your account individually if she feels you may view them.

These forums are also password protected, if you have the password and another member wants it, do not give it out to them, if I catch you doing this your account will be suspended for a week or so and any topics by you will either be locked or deleted depending how old they are.

Thanks for understanding! The new 16+ forums are to protect our members viewing... so unexpected posts are not viewed by all and as you enter the 16+ forums you know that you will read some R rated things.


Basic Character Rules

Don't god play your character. They get punched, then they get punched... you decide if they have the bloody nose or not.

Killing another person's character is not allowed unless it is discussed and agreed upon. You may not kill a canon character, even if it's Magneto. Little character's such as Magneto's minions may be killed off...

NPC's are allowed to have any type of situation with a character, but don't keep double posting it.

A character may not interact with an NPC such as, killing or fighting. They may have "lovey dovey" situations or talk, etc. with them.

Please limit your NPC's

If you throw a punch to another character, they must decide if they get hit... unless you can play fair and beat each other to a bloody pulp.

I reserve the right to rip away your NPC OR CANON character. You then will be forced to create your own character and have a minor warning. Please also keep in mind, if a Canon Character is in someone's history, be nice and play it out.


Character Role Playing Rules!

When RPing your character please follow these rules.

Don't post short replies such as "Yeah." He said.' This will get deleted and is senseless. Instead, post: "Yeah." He said as he walked off. He needed to think, think of a way to help them.' Make it lengthy so someone will have something to RP off of.

Try to limit the cursing, cursing it allowed... just don't do it every three words in a sentence. Remember, there are forums for language and violence.

Don't attack someone's character without reasonable explanation... it's just stupid.

Don't abuse the board, post where you are supposed to.

Don't start 50,000 topics and not play in them, a good number to start would be 10... play in them and join lightly in some other ones, someone expects you to RP... so don't let a thread just die. If It's dead, post that it is and an admin or mod will close it. Also, if you are in a topic with someone else, and they haven't posted... it's nice to wait for them or post an OOC post for everyone else to wait.


Non-Playing Characters (Temporary Characters)
Please follow these rules when having an NPC


NPC's MAY NOT attack an adopted canon character or another OC.

We reserve the right to take away your NPC OR YOUR cannon character. This means if you play Jean and make her a tramp... I'll take her away from you and you will be forced to make your own character.

NPC's and RP characters are allowed to interact with each other, except for fighting or killing.

One NPC MAY attack another NPC only

Canon Characters

In order to play a canon character you must follow these rules:

1. Be active at least 3 times a week. If you're not active, we'll take back your characters.
2. Place an avatar or a signature picture of your character.
3. Play your character right. If someone has a storyline or history with your character, you must play it out.

Signatures, Avatars and Hot-linking:


Signatures are to be no larger than 550x150 each. Multiple signatures at once must be 350x95

When playing a canon character you MUST post a signature or avatar MADE BY US in your signature.

Avatars are to be no larger than 100x100, NO EXCEPTIONS!

HOTLINKING IS FORBIDDEN! We will remove your signature/avatar and give you a warning!

No advertising in sigatures, please advertise in the proper forum.

Warnings


You will get a total of 3 lifelong warnings on XE. Depending how severe or how long ago your "rule breaking" was, it can be removed. If you are to receive a 4th warning, you will be banned. Serious rule breaking can result in a 3 day suspension.
