So. I read the FAQ for Utopia and a plot idea sprang up to me. It mentioned the possibility of a hunting party. I thought this could be a cool idea for a thread. They have dried and canned goods to live off of while they are in the Savage Land. In this they can hunt down and kill a Mastadon or a Stegosarus to bring back and grill for everyone. Of course a lot of the meat can be dried and kept and the hides could be kept too (for Savage Land bikinis ;) ). So I was thinking this this would be the first run into the wilds that it should be limited to staff/ X-Men. What do you all think? We can set the thread after everything has been set up for the base, perhaps a couple of days after the main group arrives. The hunting thread could even be a prelude to a feast/bonfire thread to build morale for the survivors. I think it should be limited to 5 people total. Comments? Questions? Concerns?

I was thinking maybe the 4th. That way everyone could get situated and established in Utopia and then they could get into the hunting to supplement their food stocks.

-raises hand- Kind of a no brainer on that one. Living on my own in the wilderness and all. As long as we kill our prey humanely.

Right now we've got Synch, Rogue, Rahne and Jack. We can take one more. Does September 5th sound good to everyone?

So for the hunting itself, I was thinking about maybe a Stegosaurus. It could be like a herd situation. We pick out the weakest and go in for it. Avoid some tail spikes and protective herd mentality stuff like in the Lost World. Kind of vague I know, but what do you all think about a structure for the thread or going all loosey-goosey.

Missed this somehow, but I'm okay with pretty much anything.

If this is still going, I wouldn't mind jumping in on it. Martin can take down some dino's, we'll just have to pick the crystal out x] Only problem is, Martin won't be arriving until later, around the 11th. So if you can't make it later, it's fine! :]

Martin: Sorry but Rogue is going to be leaving the SL around that point. I haven't nailed down the date yet but yeah.
