Site Wide Plots

"We Must Be Made Pure"

The Mutant Town Lockdown

The Dome is down, but a series of bamboozles have cropped up that threaten to throw the city itself into chaos. But then yours truly shows up to lend a hand (and a Shield) to stopping the violence so that we can all focus on the real bad guys.
See: And It All Came Down

Winter Island

The team of mutants assembled from the ranks of the X-Men, the Hellfire Club, The Brotherhood, and even the Morlocks has found what they needed and pinpointed the Purifier’s main complex. Can they get out before they’re found out? Ah, this reminds me of the time the Invaders and I were stuck behind enemy lines, no contact with command, and then … I’m rambling again.

Character Threads

News of the riot in Mutant Town reaches Sanctuary, and The Immovable Blob (trust me, he’s hefty) and Toxin are there to watch.
See: Breaking News

In the aftermath of the brutal attack on the Morlock Tunnels, Callisto once again rallies her people as the Morlocks make preparations to move camp.
See: Sing Sing Death House

The wayward material girl Emma Frost comes across Dustin Reed, the mutant Toxin, in what I’m sure will be a riveting string of condescending commentary on how poor Dustin’s shoes clash with last year’s springwear.
See: Mysterious Stranger

Icarus flies Mastermind over the site of the Purifier base for a bit of reconnaissance. Reminds me of the time I had to scout out a Hydra stronghold with nothing but a .45, my shield, and a rickety hang-glider. Those were the days.
See: Pawn to King’s Rook Three

Lockheed is snooping. I didn’t even know dragons could snoop.
See: Mid-Night Prowling

Rahne stumbles onto the comatose Beautiful Dreamer’s dreamwalk. The Morlock is not entirely happy to see Rahne. Morlock kids dying might do that to a person.
See: Come Dream With Me Tonight

With most of Mutant Town Evacuated and only a couple of days before its remaining occupents are due to meet with SHIELD for negotiations, a few people congregate in a bar. It’s a quintessential classic setting that, in my day, would have been outlawed by the Comics Code. Man, I’m old.
See: The Bar Thread

Masque squares things between the Morlocks and their ex-ally Sack once and for all. Frankly, I think the man needs put down, but Sack’s a slippery one… Oh god the imagery.
See: Cutting the Lead

Mastermind sneaks a trip into Mutant Town in the aftermath of the Riot. Apparently she’s going to run into an idgit? Name calling is uncalled for, Miss Wyngarde.
See: Down the Street Where You Live

Sunspot and Shard go out on their first date. I had a date once. I ran late by about 65 years. Oh well, lost opportunity, I suppose.
See: A Night To Remember

With one of her top enforcers dead, Callisto seeks to fill his shoes. But is the man she’s chosen up to the task?
See: The Weight
