OK, to start out, this is a crazy idea but might be fun. Some weekend between May 12th and June 12th, a group of students get lost in the woods surrounding Xavier's. The woods, to my knowledge, are actually very large. Only a few student's know them like the back of their hand so there is a possibility to get lost.

Premise: Rumor has it someone from one of the other factions hid something in the woods. Anne Lee wants to find it. Since she knows not what the object is or where it is, she can't summon it. She decides to hunt it down. Eventually more students join the quest either by accident or invite. But, they walk down one too many unfamiliar paths and take one too many wrong turns. The get lost. It starts getting dark. No one knows there way back to the mansion. The wind picks up. Everything starts getting scary. Should they try to make camp or wander further in hopes to find the mansion.

But, then a stray branch is broken. Something is following them. Who or what is it? Are they in danger? How much trouble are they in if it is a teacher? Someone screams...

Flow of events: Basically, Anne Lee starts gathering people and they go off into the woods. It's near dark when they start out. Just right after dinner. They get lost. Someone starts to scare them. They eventually make it back to the mansion with or without the mysterious object. They get in trouble for being out after curfew.

The object could be something someone actually left in the woods from another faction. Or, it could have been a rumor and the getting lost was all for nothing. Seeking four students beside Anne Lee who's abilities won't really help in trying to get out of the woods. Wouldn't mind having a couple of younger students. Oh, yeah, there could be some students doing the scaring. Possibly they got sent out to find the missing students in the woods or they spotted group of them and decided to follow them and pull a couple of pranks.

One spot still up for the students who are to be lost.

Would like at least one volunteer to attempt to scare the students at one point. Or just crash the quest at one point.


Two points in the c-box were made the other day by Heather. One, Jean could lead the lost students back to the mansion via telepathy. And two, Rahne could track them down.

The thread would take place an hour or two before curfew so the missing students wouldn't be found out straight away. Once they are, Jean could began to lead them back. As for Rahne, someone suggested it might began to rain which is a possibility in the spring. However, if she does find them it won't be straight away and they'll probably be having an adventure by then.

"I'll chase the kiddies around in the woods! That will be so special."

Well, in game, he will still be alive at the time of the thread. But, no.

Kenneth, Gale, Hisako, and Layla shall be joining Anne Lee on the quest for some mysterious object. Got one volunteer to crash the quest who might know the way out of the woods but, the is going to be a surprise! BT's idea was awesome and in the processing of getting the details down.

However, even though the details aren't ironed out, the surprise won't happen until a bit in the quest so... I'm going to start the thread sometime on Monday.

It'll take place May 30th at about 9pm or so. Going to have the quest be going on like an hour and half when the thread starts so we can get past the 'yay a quest' to the 'OK we're lost' part.

Which brings up the question, how'd your character hear about the quest and asked to be apart of it.

Gale finds out because they're kinda friends and all. Plus he loves to tag along on things....quests and all

I'm so sorry. Said, Monday but took a break from the Internet (and went to be relatively early, like around eight) and didn't get a chance to post up the thread.

Tonight, it's hitting near midnight my time and I'm about ready to go to bed.

~Anne Lee has been talking to Layla her roommate about the object for days before the quest.
~Kenneth and Gale were told at during lunch on May 29th.
~Hisako over heard the quest had been moved from Saturday to that night and showed up at the meeting point, the patio. (Hope that is OK, Armor).

Top of the second page the small group of mutant teenagers have been attacked by living tree creatures.

Anne Lee, in attempt to get help, at the orders of Kel, began to summon things that might be located near a teacher who might be able to help. Thing of the matter, the teacher will have to find the lost group of teenagers. (To find the students quick a telepath or a teacher with strong senses will be most appreciated.)

If any teacher is interested in finding the group and helping against the attacking trees please PM Anne Lee’s account with ideas. Depending on interest and how the next few posts go, looking for at most two teachers (no more).

To those in the thread, keep postin’. Be fun if we beat the trees (or get to safety) before a teacher even enters the woods. Also, you have ideas please share them, thanks.
