The assassination of President Kinsey would belong to the world. Retribution would be infinite, the fraying tether that was mutant/human relations would break with his death, and all would suffer for Magneto's so called vision.

Grounds Upon driving through the gates of the Xavier Estate, you'll find a single long driveway that is lined with a number of trees and other decorative plants. About a quarter of a mile in, two side drives appear on each side; the right leads to the large Gardens that take up a portion of the grounds, and to left a large clear area to be used for outdoor training.
Upon arriving to the Institute, the trees clear and one is left viewing the sheer grandeur of the mansion itself. A large portion of the front is covered in brick.

Sub Basement and Basement While the main focus of the Xavier Institute is to teach and train new mutants, the subbasement serves as a epicenter for the X-Men operation. The most heavily guarded of the mansion's levels, the subbasement holds a high-tech treatment center, war room, and of course.. the danger room.

1st Floor The Xavier Mansion's first floor is where individuals make their first entrance. At first glance, the mansion is the same as any other mansion. Tall, sprawling staircases that lead on each side up to the second floor, a grand entry way with glass windows that allow the rising sun's light to enter first thing in the morning. Each side has a hallway, with the center holding the large dining area for students. The left hallway holds a parlor, sitting room, and a formal dining room. To the right is the Headmaster's office, a kitchen that connects to the dining area, and a sun room.

2nd Floor By far the heart of the Institute, the second floor is where students and teachers spend the greater part of their days. With classrooms that range from fire-proof walls.. to walls that do not exist at all, the engineering that has gone into the construction of the mansion is second to none. Though by far less developed than the subbasement, the advancements the second floor offers is far succeeding that of any normal school.
Upon first entering the second floor from the stairs, a large wood-paneled wall sits in front, a painting of the now deceased Professor the first site one sees. On the right are classrooms and various rooms for entertainment- namely and foremost the student lounge. Even farther to the right is the library, and directly next to that is the media room. All doors open up to a large view of the first floor atrium, giving almost immediate ability to see who enters from the second floor balcony. Farther down the hall is a large outdoor balcony that over views the back gardens.

3rd Floor & Up The third floor of the Institute, along with any adjoining floors. This includes the large and well furnished observation Deck, The halls of this level are as finely tended as every other portion of the institute, and have many benches and a small lobby in the front, giving full view of any who come to the front of the institute

Student Dorms Situated on the east wing of the building are the student dorms of the institute. Connected to the main house with a hallway that accesses all three floors, the Boys dorm is on the 1st floor, the Girls on the 2nd, the Co-Ed College Dorms on the 3rd. Lights out is 10 am, and 12 am on a weekend for the lower floors, 12 and 2 for the third.

Staff Rooms Situated on the west wing of the building, the staff and family rooms are on the upper floor above the main house. These dorms are larger in size and usually house 1 staff member per room. On the opposite side of the hallway are the family rooms, which can easily house a family of 3-5. Staff members do not have curfews, but usually get to bed at decent times... when they can.

The X-Factor Building The first floor of X-Factor's HQ used to be a gym, and so has a large training area and built in locker room/shower area. It is not particularly pretty, but it has its own unique charm, from Wanda's signs of protection scrawled on the walls, to Box's high tech security systems. But the doors are always open to those in need, be they mutant, human or morlock.

New York The City that never sleeps, and the home to the epicenter of a plethora of pleasure. Everything you could ever want can be found here, muddled in with the things that you would never want. Many a story begins here, in the gritty streets of The big apple.
About 2 hours from the institute, many outings to various portions of New York happen from time to time. But, these outings are highly regulated, and underclassmen are advised to not go out to New York on their own.

Mutant Town A subsection of Brooklyn, much like "Little Italy" or "Chinatown," Mutant Town is a three mile square neighborhood where the genetically enhanced have gathered to form a safe haven, protecting each other and accepting the vast differences in powers and appearances that come with being a mutant. X-Factor is headquartered here, developing a reputation as the local 'peacekeepers.' Humans are welcomed here, but are regarded with suspicion, and should think twice before starting trouble. In Mutant Town, our kind make the rules.

North Salem The small upscale town of North Salem is a pleasant little suburban town. While pleasant enough for the day to day average human, the more extreme of mutants would quite honestly.. not do well venturing into town. It's downtown is typical of all small towns-- antique stores, coffee shops, and other mom and pop type stores.
