Emma could sense Cessily was getting more and more nervous and uneasy about dealing with the Brotherhood. Emma was first and foremost a business women and was no stranger to negotiating major deals on nothing more than a handshake but dealing with terrorists was another thing entirely. Cessily tried talked Emma out of making any kind of deal with the Brotherhood and Exodus not believing them to keep their word anyway. Cessily's willingness to go to jail for Emma touched her and she didn't want to have the poor girl suffer on her behalf. Exodus may very well be the strongest mutant on the block, But Emma was still the greater telepath.
As Emma was coming to the realization that there would be no negotiating with a man as stubborn as Exodus she had to resort to a plan B, A quick Scan of the area disclosed the locations of all the members of Exodus' team, Emma noticed a gap in the defenses directly in front of the house, Perhaps due to the fact Exodus had confidence in his ability to keep both Emma and Cessily in check with limited help guarding the front of the house. ::I am sorry to do this to you Cessily, I broke one person out of the Sanctuary and hope to include you in that as well.:: Emma sent a guarded telepathic message to Cessily as she continued to stare at the dangling null cuffs.
::On my word, I will send out a high wave mental attack and incapacitate everyone on this block, Baring you of course, Take that opportunity to make a mad dash out of the front door. :: A small sigh then escaped from Emma as the situation grew dire while Exodus seemed unphased by Emma's offer to give him the throne of the Brotherhood. “Well than... I believe we are done here. This would be the part when we say Au Revoir.” On Emma's last word she sent out a powerful telepathic blast that covered the vicinity around the house targeting especially all of Exodus' guards and Exodus himself, as one by one everyone dropped. “This would be the time to haul ass as they say.” With Exodus on the ground the null cuffs dropped to the floor as well, Emma would have loved to slap the cuffs on him herself but time was of the essence, and there were enough of his goons to pull it right off him soon enough anyway.

This was headed nowhere fast. Worse, it was beginning to head in a very bad direction, a direction that Cessily really wanted to avoid. She wasn’t sure which was worse – the fact that not being a telepath set her at a severe disadvantage here, or the fact that fighting a telekinetic would be about as effective as beating her head against a wall and expecting it to walk away. Her power was one of physicality, strength, and stealth. Mentally, she was just as average as any normal human, and without the ability to get near her target, she’d be useless. Oh, maybe she’d get lucky and a bright light would reflect off her skin and blind them. Not.
Emma was quiet, thoughtful, which made the redhead wonder if maybe she was finally realizing just how this was headed. She had to hand it to the woman; Emma managed to look completely calm, as if they were taking a walk in a park, as opposed to getting arrested by a terrorist. Cessily’s perspective shifted again, seeing the people closing in behind them, looking at the weapons, the movement. Other than a blink, she showed no signs of having heard Emma’s mental voice.
::Wait, I don’t think..:: But it was too late. She gave the word – in French, no less to be expected – and she could practically feel the telepathic push urging her into action. Instinctively taking a few steps forward as people began dropping, Cessily made as if to run; really, she even lifted a foot, preparing to take off into a mad sprint, or liquefy and slither away…But Emma spoke again, and Cess paused, looking back at the blonde woman, indecision obvious on her face.
“Emma, I…” Dammit, she couldn’t just leave the woman! Oh, sure, Cessily could hide anywhere in Sanctuary, with her powers. But to know that she had just run off, leaving Emma to face the consequences of first her actions over Mystique, and then over her…Prison would suck. But Cessily would never be able to live with herself if she just left the woman. So rather than being smart and hauling ass away from the destruction, the silver skinned girl leaped back towards Emma, grabbing the older woman’s arm and dragging her a few feet.
“C’mon, I can’t just leave you here. What would Scott say?” A rhetorical question, although one that would probably be answered with ‘never leave a man behind’ or something boy scout-like. Still, a premise that she’d been living a breathing for the past few years, and one that she refused to just forget about, no matter the consequences involved.

It wasn't as if he hadn't expected a telepathic attack to come from Emma Frost. If she was going to try to make a break for it, then obviously that would be her best and only option. The thing that surprised him and everyone around him was the force behind the attack. So far, he had only heard second hand at Frost's telepathic abilities, but this time he experienced them for himself.
The stunning attack pierced through his defenses quite suddenly and Exodus fell to the ground with the rest of his force, raising a hand to his head as pain coursed through it. He never fell completely unconscious, as others did, for at least his defenses softened the blow a little bit. Still, it took him several seconds to regain his bearings and get back to his feet.
During this time, the two women attempted to flee. Cessily came back to Emma instead of running away and grabbed her arm in the attempt to pull her along faster. Perhaps that was the mistake that cost them the most, but really no matter of distance they could run would assist them in getting away. There was no where left to hide. Sanctuary was a shut door. And now, Exodus had gotten to his feet and had taken to the air above them.
"Excellent work, Miss Frost," Exodus said as he came down from above them, intercepting their path. "You are as powerful as they say."
Exodus then pointed at her with his finger. Like a bullet, one of the null cuffs shot off of the ground from where it was laying and sped to the woman's wrist, striking it with great enough force that it snapped shut. With the same hand, he held up his palm and pushed her to the ground with enough telekinetic force to daze her. His eyes then went to Cessily and he was sure that the girl would attempt to distort herself in order to prevent the null cuffs from closing upon her.
For her, Exodus raised the other hand up and brought and invisible force upon her from all angles, applying just enough pressure so that she would remain in her current feminine shape. With the other hand, he pointed at her as he did Emma, and the other null cuff shot from the ground with great speed and struck her wrist, snapping shut as it made contact. Once again, he shoved the nullified girl to the ground as he had done for Emma.
The nullifying effects would most likely come as a sudden shock to both of their systems, but Exodus was past the point of caring for these two women's feelings. He looked around to his crew and saw that Azure was awakening, while the others were still out of it. ::Clean this up, Azure. I will take them in myself,:: Exodus said into the girls mind.
Azure got to her feet and nodded while holding her head. Her glowing blue eyes had faded back to their normal color and she looked as if she were going to be sick. Still, she seemed to understand Exodus' orders and would see them through.
"Come ladies, it is time to have some fun," Exodus then said to Cessily and Emma, gripping them within a telekinetic hold and lifting them into the air. He then shot into the sky, heading in the direction of the Barracks, with Cessily and Emma floating behind him in tow.
