In the shadow of a world scarred by the Rise of Apocalypse, the mutant/human war reaches new heights.

On the side of right, the X-Men continue their defense of the future, training and protecting the younger generation at the Xavier School, while Charles Xavier struggles to explain his strange three year absence that returned him to us no longer crippled, and much younger than he left. In the city, X-Factor has joined with Shield to give a pleasing and open public face to mutantkind though not all of its members agree with the decision.

The survival of the fittest doctrine of Apocalypse has only enhanced Magneto's belief in mutant superiority, however, and with new members of the Brotherhood and his Acolytes, he's bent on establishing a sanctuary for his people at any cost.

Beneath the streets of New York, the returned Callisto gathers her Morlocks, preparing for the coming winter, shadowed by the high rises of the wealthy city, where the Hellfire Club dwells in sinister decadence.

And, strangely, in another time, another place, a world has been torn apart by the absence of one man... and that world grows closer... ever closer...

But, here in our world, what of the rest of us, who just wish to live, who just want to survive? War looms on the horizon, and one thing is clear...

We've entered a new age, and every generation needs a [REVOLUTION]

Ah, Olga, we love you, but your characters tend to be bitches. Riva... Jara... Aingeru... And, then there's Squirrel Girl! Doreen Green, your only canon pc. How can you not love Squirrel Girl, absolutely charming, absolutely adorable and absolutely out of control. With her trust sidekick Monkey Joe, and a bag of macadamias in her hand, Squirrel Girl is ready to take on any negativity, any foe, any tension and utterly destroy it with a few quick witted quips that somehow manage to sound innocent and unaware of their true bite, and with teeth like that, Doreen knows how to bite, doesn't she. But, the really truly great thing about Squirrel Girl is that there's absolutely no angst to her. She's pure joy of life wrapped up in a cute little package, with a bright bow on her fluffy tail.

So, if you need back up, on the field, or just to brighten your day, you can't go wrong with seeking out Doreen.

Just make sure you bring her some of those macadamias.
