<<< Endo in the infirmary, Plot with Endo?

Premise:
During the Insanity Tour in New York, Endo almost killed himself by expending more energy than his body could handle. He was (inadvertently) saved when Omega Red knocked him out, but between the over-expenditure of energy and the injuries sustained during the battle, his body has needed quite some time to rest and recover. Thus, he has been unconscious for some time, including during Scott's death. Now, he'll be waking up and going through a lot of things emotionally, such as the guilt over the people he killed, the loss of control over his powers, and the death of Cyclops. Although he wasn't close, he was working directly for Scott, and Scott had been the first one to bring Endo into the mutant haven. At this point, Endo will be wondering if he should leave before he hurts someone else (something that a lot of the mutants go through). This is more of a developmental plot for Endo, which will trigger the beginning of another, more action-oriented, plot, later on.

Flow of Events:
Pretty simple. Endo wakes up, asks what happened to him, then asks to speak with Scott. Someone in the infirmary will need to inform him that Scott has passed on (or was murdered). Then Endo will talk to some people.

Characters involved/needed:
Anyone in the infirmary, particularly:
1. Lucy
2. Elixir
3. Hank
4. Avery

Anyone else who wants to join in may, no need to sign up. I'm just hoping to have at least 1-2 of those listed above.

Tenative Duration
Around 1-3 weeks real time, depending on how many people are willing to join in, and how fast people post. I understand this isn't a very important thread.

I'm not sure if Ted can actually be there, as I'm not quite sure how the Xavier's lockdown works... he's an alumnus and will certainly want to show up to offer his condolences and check in on everybody.

If it's OK with staff, I'll toss Ted in to chat with Endo. Since he and Endo did some fighting in the Madbomb thread, it would make sense for him to visit with the guy once he wakes up.

I don't know if it would be a problem. I'll ask an admin when I see one, if they don't reply here first. I think it would be awesome to have Ted drop by! Maybe even with Billy too, if the X-Men don't have a problem with it, that is.

Billy is still school faculty so I can't see them having a problem.

Endo - it's always advisable if you want specific people in threads to approach them instead of asking in a thread like this for them - you can't always guarantee they'll see it.

As for Hulkling being there, I can't speak for everyone so you'd need to ask someone such as Heather, but seeing as the school is effectively on lockdown and the X-men are discussing not letting the public know about Scott, having someone from SHIELD not only on campus but in a restricted area would require a really good explanation behind it, otherwise it doesn't make much sense.

OK, I'll keep Teddy out of it then.

No one is saying you can't be there, just if you are, there'll need to be a really good reason that works out with those it pertains to.

Right now, the only reason I can think of is the one I mentioned: he's an alumnus and he'll want to show up to offer his condolences and check in on everybody. But if I come up with a better reason I'll run it by someone such as Heather, as you suggested.

Thanks for the heads up, Betsy. Actually, I would have preferred to ask the people in the infirmary in cbox, but I have not been in much and when I formulated the plot, none of the people listed were actually online in the cbox (unless the were on alts, which I have no idea who everyone plays). So, I do apologize for that. I had already planned on asking those people when I see them in cbox, I just wanted to get the plot idea out there and see who was interested.

As for Teddy, it would be really cool if he could make an appearance, but definitely we should see if we can work it out with Heather, or whoever is in charge of the school, now (Logan? Is that played by Heather too?). If it doesn't work out, we can always get a separate thread where the two interact.

I don't play Logan, that's Steve. Talk to him, or to Warren's player Matt. Possibly Storm, played by Miles. Those three are going to attempt to fill Scott's shoes
