So... Jac and the kid were in the same spot most of the X-Men had disappeared to; Magneto had been right. Drew bit a bottom lip as he considered how he'd get to them, if that was even possible... if that was even a good idea right now. For all he knew, any other Bhers going to the fellow speedster could be detrimental to what was likely a tenuous alliance with the X-Men... especially after what Magneto had done at their New York hot spot.
And then there was what Emma planned. Former allies? Here in Sanctuary? Sabre for the life of him couldn't imagine who she was talking about. Surely she didn't have spies here in Magneto's base of operations looking out for her. And what exactly was she getting at? Actually openly defying the Master of Magnetism on his home turf? Pyro would fry her up and serve her to Blob for dinner.
And he didn't care what the rumor mill said about Absolom being a pacifist. That dude scared the bejesus out of him, and he was pretty sure Magneto's right hand man could melt their faces off from halfway around the world with that penetrating stare alone. And don't forget the big guy himself and all his magnet powers that could call forth lightning, boil your blood in your veins, scramble your brains, and a host of other horrible ways to die.
Yep... he'd nearly talked himself out of helping this pair. What was he going to do? Stay? Go? Scream for the nearest stormtrooper? Maybe tell them to fuck off and he go find that pie he wanted so badly?
He was interrupted before he could make up his mind, Emma detecting guards waking up as she picked up her pace. He did the same... still slow as hell.
“I should go get someone to take you two down,” Drew muttered, pulling his hood over his head in hopes that he might not be identified if things went south. He had more guts than you could shake a stick at once he got a fire under him, but when not trying to break the sound barrier, Drew Wexler did manage to keep a few shreds of common sense around.
“Get your pretty patooties to teleportation bay four. It's offline for renovations. I'll have someone there to get you out of this bubble.” With that, he zipped off, clearing a path for them, going out of his way to knock several passers-by and guards alike and dragging them off into closets, nooks, crannies, and the like. Even managing to take down a couple of guards on a hoversled before the two ever thought about it; darkness hid his actions, and the guys out on the streets weren't Brotherhood – only civvies and cops. Tightening his lips as he lept off the police issue sled, it was then that he noticed how things had started to degrade in Sanctuary. There was a lot less security as more mutants were being sent out to the cells on the surface. People had been going missing and had not been found... in short, Sanctuary was dying.
Leaving the sled for the pair of ladies behind him as he zipped down the streets toward the teleportation bays, one thought ran consistently through his mind with all those others as his green eyes searched the darkened alleyways in order to clear a path for the pair.

JP; Emma and Mystique
When Emma announced the sedated guards were beginning to regain consciousness. That forced their hand into moving things along at a much quicker pace. Sabre was starting to get very nervous and apprehensive about the situation. He announced he was going to go ahead and make sure everything at the teleporting bays was set up for Mystique when she arrived, As he zipped off that gave Emma and Mystique some bonding time. “We need to really light a fire now Mystique, I am not sure if Sabre will be on our side much longer he's second guessing this actions. And the guards and Brotherhood wont be far behind.”
As Emma tried to get a lock on how far behind the Brotherhood was she noted to Mystique. “They are dispatching a response team now to find you. They figure you will be heading to the teleporting bays for extraction, They will be there shortly.” The Brotherhood was now alerted of Mystique's escape as of right now they did not know who else was involved but they were certain Mystique had an accomplice due to the evidence left behind when Sabre sedated the guards.
Mystique wasn't about to waste time debating anything. That could be done on the move, and since Sabre had been so kind as to provide them with a bit of transportation, well, waste not, want not. The shapeshifter, now in the borrowed form of a middle-aged member of the Sanctuary upper-echelon, remained as level headed as she could. At this point, it was do or die. To be captured was to be killed, and if it came to that, well... she wasn't going to think about it lest she suffer a breakdown.
Hopping into the vehicle she waited for Emma to join her before taking off, speeding off in the direction of the teleportation nexus. Who Sabre was going for and how he was going to convince them sat nestled at the forefront of her mind, as did his possible betrayal. Had she her way he would not have left, he could be going to get backup right now.
As they sped along, she looked over to Emma. "Why did you come here, To Sanctuary, I mean." It had been no real secret that Raven hadn't trusted Emma, and she'd spoken out against her steadily increasing role in Brotherhood affairs on numerous occasions. To see her here, now, working against Erik, or against what was supposed to be Erik, either confirmed her fears or dashed them apart. She wasn't sure which outcome she desired.
Mystique took control of the vehicle and began heading towards the Teleporting center, Which sat well enough with Emma as Mystique had better knowledge of the Sanctuary than she did and if the Brotherhood did decide to try and spring a trap Mystique could presumably circumvent their attempts to detain the duo by taking a less traveled path, But as they quickly raced towards the teleporting bay Mystique asked why was it Emma came to the Sanctuary in the first place. A small sigh reigned out before Emma answered.
“A second chance, Or perhaps third, fourth... whatever it maybe. I may have been an X-Men on paper and on the roster, But never in the hearts of the others. I was generally looked down on and still cast as the evil villianess among them. Sans Cyclops perhaps and a select few others. I thought coming here I would not be labeled as the most vile. Things were going well enough until the Worthington Complex incident, I don't know if you heard about that. That was a game changer for me. Magneto assured me it would be a peaceful visit. I do not like being lied to and I found not only was I being lied to about that but about a lot of things. Which brings us to where we stand today.”
"Worthington Complex?" She asked, turning to look at her with a sort of disingenous glare. "What happened at the Worthington Com-Ah!"
Their vehicle rocked to the side as a wave of force hit it, behind them, a mutant, dressed in the garb of Sanctuary's peacekeepers, roared into view behind them. Mystique turned to look at them through the back, turning then to Emma. "Guess this bit of dalliance is one not meant to last." Against an energy caster such as there persuer seemed to be, she had little defense, but they were in a law enforcement vehicle, after all, and Mystique had become very intimate with Sanctuary's law enforcement during her time in this city's upper echelons.
"Keep driving and see if you can shut his brain off." She said as she slithered, into the back seat, spinning around and leveling her false-booted feet against the window several times until it shattered away, Another shot of telekinetic force hit the pod, sending it skidding at an awkward angle while she shifted as much mass into her arms as possible before ripping the bootcover off and sending it flying back at their newfound opponent. Removing the rifle from the back she shouted back to Emma. "Any chance you can make this more diplomatic than a bullet can?"
Once the blast of energy hit the vehicle, Mystique sprung into action moving herself into the backseat and kicking out the window as she asked Emma to drive and mentally incapacitate the pursuing officers. Emma let out a chuckle as she shook her head when Mystique acted, It was becoming a running gag with her and the Brotherhood to have them act first and think later as Emma took the wheel. Before Emma could attempt to pacify Mystique another blast of energy rocked the vehicle which consumed Emma's attention. while Mystique grabbed the gun and asked Emma again if she could shut down the officers.
“Dear the theatrics were completely unnecessary. But while we are having our buddy cop movie moment. Are you sure you wouldn't like to pop off a few rounds and say a fancy catch phrase?” However Emma didn't leave much room for Mystique to pop back in with a retort of her own before invading the mind of the pursuing officer and convincing him to stop at the corner doughnut shop for a bearclaw before continuing his pursuit of the rogue couple. “There, Now would you like to rejoin me up front?” Emma asked while making mention. “I generally hate driving with the windows down, I do not overly enjoy the wind blowing my hair a mess, But thank you for the fresh air.”
Mystique looked back to the city passing by behind the pod before looking back to Emma as she delivered her smug rhetorics and haughty whathaveyou's. Oh well, a gun in hand...
Climbing back into the front, she almost poutingly folded her arms across her chest. "I'm too old for this shit."
The teleportation facility was looming up ahead, a few more blocks and they could ditch this sore thumb of a ride. "Are you picking up anything else? That couldn't have been all they're going to throw at me. What about the thought police... if Magneto already knows about us your goose is well and truly cooked."
“It appears commandeering a police vehicle during an escape is not the best way to keep a low profile, The vehicle was reported taken. That man in particular was smart enough to put two and two together.” Emma explained as she scanned telepathically to see what the status of their escape held. “He was able to alert all the other officers of his pursuit before I got to him, They are on the look out for a Police vehicle with a missing window now. All available officers are currently being dispatched to our location. It maybe time for another costume change.” Emma added as the took a few more twists and turns on the way to the teleporting center.
As the sirens were beginning to pierce through her ears Emma too figured it would be helpful to attempt to disguise herself in another form using her telepathic projection to cast an illusion of a standard Sanctuary peacekeeper. “I won't be able to hold this projection and fend off all of the Sanctuary police force. “I swear to Christ, Mystique, If we survive this case, I am going to dance a jig.” Emma landed her own buddy cop movie quote as the teleporting center could be seen up a head in the distance.
The idea of impersonating an Acolyte or someone else of note crossed her mind. Perhaps she'd be able to lead the approaching law enforcement away with a bit of guile and subterfuge, but that was foolhardy. If indeed these badgewalkers had any notion of who they were chasing, they'd make certain that anyone they found wasn't who they were looking for. She cursed her notoriety at that moment, and looked to Emma as she faded into the shape of Generic Pitbull Female Officer Number Thirteen.
"Whats your plan, hope they think we're the one set of beat cops who got stuck with the only other trunkless pod in the city?"
The sirens were still far enough off that they might make it, though in retrospect, perhaps Emma was right. A bit of a kneejerk overreaction of sorts, being rusty after so many months was excusable, even if it was only rationalizing in her head. God, she hated sitting this close to a telepath.
"Lets punch it and the three of us just get this done with."
Emma stomped down hard on the gas pedal sending the vehicle speeding at an unsafe speed as “The plan is to survive.” Emma retorted. “And generic pitbull female officer number twelve and thirteen have a better chance of that than Emma and Raven at this point. Especially if I had not been made as your accomplice. I would rather be seen as this than as myself, Presently. A little foresight can be a strong ally.” Emma added as the pod continued to cruise towards the center. “Though having a back window would be helpful.” Emma added as the car squealed into the parking lot of the teleporting center.
“Come now.” Emma said as she quickly exited the vehicle and marched towards the teleporting center. By time Emma made the door other police vehicles were hitting the parking lot as the thrones of officers filled out of the their respective pods and began surrounding the building formulating a plan of attack to engage the couple. While some decided to block the exits while others formed a makeshift team to enter the building and apprehension the suspects.
The two of them headed into the building, Mystique not yet dropping her guard, but instead shifting into that of the reptilian new recruit Chameleon, a shape she'd used while secretly evaluating the Serbian cell alongside Nitro more than half a year ago now. It was more credible for her to be here than a standard cop.
They headed through the complex, a skip ahead of the law the whole time, and when they moved into the aforementioned teleportation bay, she pulled back the slide on her commandeered rifle. If Sabre betrayed them, it wouldn't do much good against him, but she could take down whoever he brought with him before offing herself, at least.
"He better be here..."
