<<< Brother Needed (Radius & Flex)

Hey guys, Jimmy (Sean/Serafina) here! So I need someone to join me in adopting a new character. I know it's a long shot but I think this is a fun plot, and the two characters I'm proposing don't really go very far without each other in 616, despite not really getting along all that well...

Jared and Adrian Corbo are the sons of Gen. Jeremy Clarke, a Pentagon-appointed liaison to a military science research centre in New York who now works in league with the Purifiers. He was privy to projects involving early detection of the mutant gene in the research base and developed a hatred for mutants during his time on the project. He secretly took a DNA sample swab from his infant son Jared and had him screened for testing. When it transpired that Jared was a mutant who would likely manifest abilities in adolescence, Clarke had his son put up for adoption as far away as possible (northern Canada). He soon fathered another child to provide another heir to the military throne, as his wife gave birth to another boy, Adrian. Preferring to live in ignorance, Gen. Clarke raised the boy until his powers (entailing the ability to transform his limbs into massive, razor-sharp organic metal blades) manifested during his fourteenth birthday party. Shamed, Clarke divorced his wife and had Adrian taken to the Department H research facility for experimentation. Though generally treated well by the staff, the boy was still, to all intents and purposes, a guinea pig. Over a period of four years, he has seen his father in the flesh only three times. Now, however, Sen. Risman and Clarke's other Purifier colleagues have decided that a purge of all government-held test subjects is necessary...

The half-brothers will spend the duration of the Purifier plot working together against Adrian's captors, independently from any group, but afterwards will settle as members of whatever group we agree on.

This looks neat, couple of question's though: Are these Npc or minor chars? Are they just for the Purifiers arc or are they going to stick around even after, like become main independent characters?

I intend for Radius to be a main player. I have a couple of options as regards where he's going to end up, group-wise. I won't give anything away. Ideally they'll be on the same group after all is said and done, but I'm not opposed to them being on opposite sides. Flex's player might decide he's a minor character at best for him, and that would be totally fine also.

Yeah, I really like the back story and with the boardwide I think it's a good springboard for some pretty cool stuff. I need to message staff and see if they'd be okay with me playing Adrian (I'd rather play him as a minor character since more or less he's tied to Jared's story, but barring their okay, yeah sign me up. We can work out all the essentials over PM and Aim.
