The Expansion:

Q: What is it?

A: X-Corp has gotten together with several like-minded companies world-wide and, with the help of Warren Worthington and his connections, instituted a merger that brings X-Corp and its mission statement of Humans and Mutants solving bringing aid to global problems to a world-wide theater. This is being done for two reasons. One; To bring us to a more forceful presence on the board while still maintaining the non-combative nature of the X-Corp faction, and Two: To expand seeding for future plotting and more diverse storylines that can’t really be anchored around a small charity outfit base in a single city.

X-Corp will be opening remote branches in the following cities: Los Angeles, London, Paris, Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. There will ultimately alos be a branch opening in Sydney, Australia and there is a plot in the works for them to try and force an office open in Madripoor, but these locations are down the road once we get the idea established and see if a Global-Scaled X-Corporation can work the same way it did in the comic books.

Q:What is going to change?

A: At first, nothing. Most of the international setup will be off paneled, with action remaining in New York City. But once the International Offices are officially up and running in game, we will be able to plot out events and stories that take us the world over. Much of this will hinge around X-Guard, the Search and Rescue team introduced last year. Other, smaller scale plots for those not involved in X-Guard can be devised by you, the player; but I personally believe that it remains true that roleplaying out the daily rat race of an office worker/pencil pusher is less than compelling.


X-Guard Requirements:
At this point, it is required that you be a full-time Member of X-Corp
X-Corp provided training in field first aid
Driver’s License
Pilot Training


Cross Factional stuff:
With X-Corp moving into a global theater and becoming what is essentially the Red Cross of the Mutant World, the opportunity for us to work with factions will be heavily increased, and we’ll be able to come up with some things that we can cross-factionalize with the likes of SHIELD, the Hellfire Club, and even potentially Sanctuary and the Brotherhood.

The Medical Staff:
I’d also like for our Medical staff to begin doing some plots regarding emergency medical stuff, if that avenue of membership continues. At the moment we have Shaobing, who will be the head of that area of X-Corp, and Cecilia Reyes is going to come into the fold soon. We also have two inbound OC’s, one with paramedic training and the other a healer OC who is also a Doctor.

Les Enfants Terribles
Called in to investigate a sect of Mutants hiding in the Catacombs beneath Paris who have been causing a stir aboveground. At first they become lost, but are found by these French Morlocks and taken to their base. At first things go relatively well, but a misunderstanding leads to an altercation in which someone is kidnapped and the rest are teleported back to the surface and a rescue operation is sent underway.

Return to Toad Hollow:
X-Corp has a storage facility located in the Catskill Mountains. In their previous adventure their they witnessed a battle of interdimensional proportions. It’s been quiet ever since, but when X-Corp begins to add on to and remodel the facility, they find that Blastar and Annihilus weren’t the only thing out of the ordinary at the Toad Hollow facility. When the base goes dark, they investigate, only to find the Snarks, a reptilian race of cretinous creatures hell-bent on taking back what’s theirs!

The Hand:
X-Corp’s entry into the Japanese theater has been mentioned as being the roughest part of the expansion. As their first project, they rejuvenate and bring aid to a rough spot of Tokyo, only to draw the ires of a ancient order who intend on seeing it stay condemned. X-Corp vs. Ninjas.

Down The Tubes:
A seismic mutant has engaged all of London! But as a battle rages above the ground to reign him in, X-Guard is sent below ground into the subway tunnels to extract survivors as the whole of London threatens to come down around their ears.

Children of the Atom::
Essentially, X-Guard is contacted to aid in the rescue of a mutant being held captive in the country of madripoor. They have to go undercover, deal with the local crime elements and all that fun stuff, and guide the mutant out of the country.

Kinapping Plot:
Somebody adverse to the notion of X-Corp’s expanding agenda kidnaps Hartley, and using their combined powers and intuitive intellects, she has to be rescued.

this is an idea Tim came up with and we sort of spun it into the faction as a whole. What X-Guard is, for the unitiated, is an all-mutant rescue team. They go into heated situations to save people, but generally they don't get into actual combat.
(Unless they run into it unexpectedly)
So far, the members that I recall are Hartley, Edmund, Dead-Girl, Mitch, Lou, and I think Faye, though I think Faye dropped out of it.
