She keeps herself in pretty good shape with workouts and walking to and from work on a daily basis. Her muscles are fit but not bulky and the milky white skin has a silky texture that any man would be tempted to caress. Her only boyfriend referred her once to Aphrodite the Goddess of Love, since her attraction to men is usually eye catching. Samantha would never go out to look like she’s wanting attention, however, if she has on a bikini, attention will follow her form wherever it takes her.

Clothing style: Sam prefers to lounge around in a simple sweat suit when she’s home or even keep on her flannel shorts and tank PJs when she’s too lazy to get dressed. However, during work hours, a business suit that is tailored to her body is not only an eye catcher but it makes it easy to talk to potentially rich clients interested in fine art. Her hair is neatly kept up in a bun until the night hours when she frees herself of the pins and combs. A night out on the town, which is rare for this shy cat, would normally consist of a comfortable pair of jeans, silk shirts and her favorite brown leather coat.

Powers: Samantha has the ability to shape shift into a very large and exotic 600 pound Siberian Tiger. She is mortal; she can sustain cuts, bruises, and any kind of harm that any human can feel. Her shape shifting drains energy which makes her times as a Tiger limited to the amount of time she can be transformed. She has been known to become unconscious when transformed for long periods of time, making her quite vulnerable to anything that could harm her. Another mutant gene that runs alongside the shape shifting is her catlike reflexes and enhanced senses. Her sight, hearing and smell are enhanced which can sometimes be a stressful burden.The origin of her mutation is a mystery, although the parents suspected that since she retained her sapphire eyes from birth, there was a possibility that her grandfather was also a mutant but kept it hidden from anyone. They have the same color eyes. Another rumor circulating is that her mother had a small affair with another mutant and kept it quiet from her husband using the excuse about her father and his strange behaviors while Shannon grew up.


Weakness: She’s vulnerable to almost anything since she has no special abilities to conceal herself from any pain or injury. Her only defense are claws, teeth, and size when mutated.

Personality: Samantha is most loyal, deeply devoted, and protective. Her soft gentle nature as been her only means of survival against the cruelty of the mutant haters out there known as, humans. She tends to stray away from much conversation since all she has ever really known is cruelty and betrayal most of her life.

Since her arrival in the states recently, nightmares have inflicted her with a great fear of needles. She has tried to comprehend these fears, but has no idea why she is having them and no recollection of them being real. Not knowing she had been tortured by the government agency that kidnapped her, Sam feels almost suicidal at times fearing she is becoming a lunatic. Her fear is so extreme, she actually put two nurses into intensive care while they attempted to draw blood from her.

Her timid behavior masks over the trained assassin underneath. However, if angered fully, her mind becomes blinded and she snaps into an unconscious personality that she is struggling to control. Finding out about her past and nightmares that were taken away from her is something she both craves and fears on a daily basis. If she ever finds out who and what she was, it could lead to a total mental breakdown or she could possibly return to that way of life again.


History: Samantha was born in a small town in the outskirts of Siberia. Her zoologist parents, who were madly in love, decided to come to Russia to study the habitats and dwellings of the largest cat in the world, the Siberian Tiger. After only a few months in Siberia, Shannon and Nick Carter received the news of the new bundle of joy awaiting them in nine months. The couple was ecstatic and when she was born. Her sapphire eyes never changed color and they gave her the nickname of the same color. Neither parent had blue eyes. However, Shannon later learned that her father, who passed away while fighting during World War II, had luscious blue optics.

At age 9 Samantha had her first experience with her mutated gene. During recess in school, a boy pushed her on the playground causing her to skin her knee. In a fit of rage, she ran after the boy pretending she was an animal after its prey. In the middle of the chase, she stopped dead in her tracks and fell to the ground as though she was having a seizure. To the school’s surprise, the little girl had transformed into a small tiger cub causing havoc and she was expelled from school. The principal found that Sam was an endangerment to the other children and demanded that her parents remove her immediately.

Samantha’s parents had a difficult time accepting their daughter’s mutation. She was so perfect in their eyes and now she seemed flawed. Controlling Samantha’s ability was arduous, if not impossible. At that time, anger would provoke the change, so the parents decided to take her to a doctor for medication to control the chemical imbalance that the parents thought was the source of her transformations. But it never seemed to work. Other emotions such as fear, anxiety, and even pain would invoke her to become the beast her parents began to detest. She simply needed love, something her parents forgot about once they learned of her difference in society. Sam moved quite frequently from school to school and state to state, even countries at times. Although her parent’s expeditions were a cause of movement, her mutant gene caused even more relocations.

She seemed to have her mutation under control in her senior years in high school. She met a human boy named Nicholas and fell in love. However, during a dispute amongst mutant haters, Nick got in between one trying to kill Sam and Sam herself. He died instantly from a gunshot wound to the heart. Sam slaughtered the entire gang in a matter of minutes out of pure feral rage.

This was the final straw for her parents. They loved her but they wanted their normal lives back. On her 19th birthday, her parents asked her to leave their home. They gave her enough money for provisions and a place to stay for a while, but not enough to live off of for very long. She would have to find a job and continue schooling on her own. Not only did humans kill the one she ever loved, her own human parents were shunning her from their world. Never again would she love or trust another human.

While trying to find a life, Samantha took some time and went back to her roots in Russia. It was there, she was kidnapped by an unknown/secret government agency and forced to become one their leading assassins. She went through 9 months of brutal training and torture. They experimented on her with a serum that could induce healing in the body much faster than a normal human being, but not as quickly as Wolverine. A broken bone, for example, took only a few days to heal with the serum. However, there was a serious side effect to the drug that when administered acted like a human microwave giving terrible unbearable pain to the guinea pig it was administered to. They found this to be quite a good training device to mold Sam into a brutal and vial killing machine by administering this to her once a week for the total months she trained. She was sometimes beaten and bones broken without warning just so the drug could be used to wield her stubborn ways.

After her training, Samantha was placed on several missions killing well known politicians all over the world and even personal vendettas that were taken out against other agencies like their own. They continued the torture to keep her loyal to their firm, however, she had the opportunity one day finally get retribution. Power went out in the facility and Samantha broke out of her cell and killed every guard in the building. Finally a tranquilizer took her down and she was rendered too dangerous to keep with the firm. She would have been assassinated on the spot hadn’t it been for one of the leaders falling in love with her and ordering her memory to be swiped and she sent elsewhere to fulfill a life of happiness. The orders were carried out in the strict silence and Samantha was sent back to the states near the Xavier Institute with the final hope that she might come upon the place and become safe there.

Samantha took up oil painting and cooking and martial arts. The leader known only as The Plant, made sure she had enough finances and a place to start a life again. Sam was unaware of all the help she had received and was told some crazy story about her abduction and supposed coma that inflicted here during the struggle to stay alive under their care. Little was The Plant to know, that the healing drug administered for her for so long was still flowing ever so slightly through her bloodstream.

When she saved up enough money, Sam decided it was time for a change. Other artists and buyers recommended her to Mr. James Padelecki. They admired her wildlife artwork and said she would be highly accepted and successful there. She didn’t have many possessions, so it seemed like the right thing to do. Near her 29th birthday, she moved to New York where she is now lives in an apartment in a somewhat decent neighborhood. It wasn’t hard for her to find work as buyers came from all over Westchester to see her work. She headed a predominant art gallery until an unknown group of mutant haters attempted to kill her after work one night. She was saved by an unnamed Xmen who later brought her to the institute for recovery of her injuries that she sustained during the fight. After meeting with some of the faculty, they gave her a place of residence to keep her safe from any more attacks. Sam has since stayed at the mansion and has overcome the fact that she has discovered her past and has allowed the feral to come out when she needs it. Controlling her powers has not yet reached its fullest potential, however, she continues to work with the staff and teachers at the mansion.

SAMPLE RP POST:

The Padelecki Art Gallery was the newest addition to the town of Winchester. The building had only been open for about 6 months before Samantha Carter was brought in as the director. An unknown admirer who was a personal friend of the highly renowned James Padelecki gave him the highest recommendations to hire her.

Since she wasn't very sociable, she spent most of her time at the gallery, in the office looking over the bookkeeping and appointments trying to increase the cliental of the gallery as well as her own. Mr. Padelecki had given her a small show room to show off her art work and it soon became quite popular.

Now, as the gallery was closed, she sat quietly in the office with her navy jacket strung over her chair. The only light illuminating the desk was the office lamp and her computer screen. She sat there typing away in her journal when the phone unexpectedly rang. Out of repetition, Sam picked it up and answered in her usual polite welcoming tone.

"Padelecki Art Gallery, may I help you."

Who would be calling her this late at night? Her family didn’t know where she was nor did they even care. Sam had no friends as of yet and clients certainly couldn’t be calling this late could they? There was no answer but a breathing voice. She thought a young prankster had randomly dialed up the gallery, so she spoke a little more sterner.

"Ok, whose playing the prank?"

Again, there was silence, until a voice dark and sinister came on the other line. It sent a chill down her spine and made her hands shake holding the receiver.

"You mutant bitch, we're watching you", it whispered and she quickly hung up the phone. Her heart began to race as she kept her mutant gene a secret. Mr. Padelecki was a mutant hater and if he found out about her, she could lose everything she worked so hard to obtain. She had no idea how anyone found out. Panic began to set in on the mutant woman as her eyes darted back and forth trying to consume what had just transpired. Sweat began to form at the base of her forehead and her the hairline on the back of her neck was tingling as the hair follicles arose. She needed to take a walk, maybe a deep breath or two. She needed to get out of there, but work was still waiting to be finished.

Alright girl, just calm down. A drink is what you need. Yes, something from the vending machine. That will do the trick.

She arose from her desk, needing to walk it off but her legs were like noodles, so she decided to take a walk and grab a coke from a vending machine.
