☆ Inhumans Reboot

Premise:

The Inhumans come to claim the Terrigen Mists from the Savage Land, along with everyone who was exposed to them... Including Josh Foley

Flow of Events:

The Terrigen Mists were introduced in the Siege Perilous plot as the means by which Sauron mutates the Swamp People to serve him. During the exploration by the X-Men, Josh Foley was exposed to them, developing several enhancements of his mutation to be discussed later.

How did the Terrigen Mists get in the Savage Land in the first place? Well, I'm glad you asked. Aliens did it. Say what? Well, the Inhumans were created by the Kree who used the mists to mutate cavemen. The Savage Lands were created by Aliens called the Nuwali. Is it really so hard to think that the warlike Kree stole the mists from the Nuwali? Is it really?

When, after the chaos of Apocalypse, the Inhumans discover the evidence that there are Terrigen Mutated creatures in the Savage Land they'll come for them, and anyone else touched by them, namely Josh Foley. The X-Men have to stop their reclaiming the Terrigen Crystals and destroying the Savage Lands, as well as preventing them from taking the mutated to stand trial in their home... on the moon. That's right, you heard me, the Moon. Hey, I didn't make this up.


The Corsair Squad will be the first group to realize that the Inhumans have landed while on a field trip to the Savage Land. This will go quickly downhill from there.

For the Inhuman plot, we need people to play the NPCs. This is the sign up sheet for that. Before you sign up, let's get a few things straight so we don't waste each others' time.

1. Only players who are active with their current characters will be allowed to take an NPC for this plot. If you have comp problems or emergency absences that's ok, as long as when you ARE here, you post. If you spend all your time here hanging out in the cbox and squeezing out a post every two weeks, you will not be accepted.

2. Some of the Inhumans will have side plots. Those will be revealed when the story begins. This is a global event, so besides the Inhumans who invade the Savage Land, we want some to have their own adventures with the Brotherhood or X-Factor. Crystal, in particular, would be one of those.

3. The Savage Land Mutates will need NPCing as well, but there will not be hundreds of them. We already outnumber the Inhumans, we don't want this to be a whole sale slaughter.

4. This is a one time event. After this plot all these characters will go to NPC status. Anyone who takes a Mutate or an Inhuman will make an NPC bio in the appropriate section when approved to play them. Look at the bios that are in the NPC section already. They are NOT full bios. You don't have to kill yourself.

jeesh, I love both ideas. I especially like the idea of getting Doug out there and sort of showing how he can be useful in bigger plotlines.

I don't mean to be a pest, I really don't, but we've neither seen hide nor hair of Triton, Nahrees, or any of the Mutates aside from Brainchild, Barbarus, and Amphibius at all.

What's the deal, guys?

Triton (Sam) is on hiatus due to schoolwork and schedule.

Nahrees (Gary) is AWOL, though he did appear briefly last night. Don't know what his deal is.

Vertigo (Alix) conked her head.

Beyond that, I don't know what's going on here. I can take on an NPC if it's really needed. Just point me to the wiki article and I'll wing it.
