In the shadow of a world scarred by the Rise of Apocalypse, the mutant/human war reaches new heights.

On the side of right, the X-Men continue their defense of the future, training and protecting the younger generation at the Xavier School, while Charles Xavier struggles to explain his strange three year absence that returned him to us no longer crippled, and much younger than he left. In the city, X-Factor has joined with Shield to give a pleasing and open public face to mutantkind though not all of its members agree with the decision.

The survival of the fittest doctrine of Apocalypse has only enhanced Magneto's belief in mutant superiority, however, and with new members of the Brotherhood and his Acolytes, he's bent on establishing a sanctuary for his people at any cost.

Beneath the streets of New York, the returned Callisto gathers her Morlocks, preparing for the coming winter, shadowed by the high rises of the wealthy city, where the Hellfire Club dwells in sinister decadence.

And, strangely, in another time, another place, a world has been torn apart by the absence of one man... and that world grows closer... ever closer...

But, here in our world, what of the rest of us, who just wish to live, who just want to survive? War looms on the horizon, and one thing is clear...

We've entered a new age, and every generation needs a [REVOLUTION]

X-23, Meggan, Psylocke, Spitfire


Lauren first came on board to bring life to the worrisome character of Psylocke. Having had several applicants before, XMR had suffered through some really bad versions of her, none of which ever reached acceptance. Until Lauren showed up, and ran with her, making her part of HFC, bringing some life to the (at the time) slowly moving White Court. As their Queen, Betsy brought class, elegance and a slightly sinister edge to the chess board, and despite gaining and losing two twin brothers to player inactivity, and one older brother to Apocalypse's lieutenant, The Horseman of Death, she's managed to hold on and survive in this deadly game.

Betsy was quickly joined by the shapeshifting innocent Meggan, the angsty speedster Spitfire, and the vicious but lost X-23 (another cursed character) and each of her girls has been given a life of their own, a different voice and a place wherever they find themselves. Yes, I know they all look the same in the banner, but really, trust me on this, Lauren makes them unique in game play. What? You don't believe me? Well, grab a thread, sit back and enjoy some damn good rping, because these girls are taking this board by storm, and XMR is all the better for it.
