Rose woke up as the plane landed in Kennedy, feeling a bit groggy after a fitful nap. Her flight didn't leave until the next day so she had plenty of time to go around the city. She felt naked without her swords, but there was no way she'd be able to get them past security in a carry on. So she had checked them with her baggage and they were going to stay with her luggage until she touched down in London. Still, she had an extendable bo staff packed away in her back pack so she wasn't completely without a weapon. This day had been long in coming. After Jay had his little training experience with Guy, she figured she needed her own. Her precognition wasn't as reliable as she'd like it to be and she wasn't happy with that. She needed help. Training. Though why she was going the long way to Tibet was a complete mystery to her. Still, being in New York was like being home again. She missed this city. But she also needed a place to crash for the night until her flight tomorrow afternoon. She'd thought about it as Jay had dropped her off at the airport. She almost didn't come. The looks he was giving her as she went to go get her ticket almost made her regret to contacting Dragon in the first place. But she steeled herself and kissed him goodbye. Besides, he had his training, now it was her turn.

She paid the cabbie her fare and decided to walk the rest of the way. The general public didn't need to know she was there. Looking up at where Daria and her Titan's lived, she wondered if anyone was there. She just shrugged and knocked on the door.

Asaman was in the monitor room checking out the scene and recieved a transmission from Drone "Everything is going cool in Montana!" Asaman replied <Very good, I will check in with Payara later about the situations in the oceans>

Swordsman came in from his room and said "Anything happening that I need to be informed about? Asaman turned her head looking very uninterested and said <Ravager is at the door for you.> Swordsman raised his eyes and said to himself "Wow, I wonder what she came over her for?"

Swordsman walked towards the door and saw rose "Hey, what's up?" he asked her "did you want to come and play or something?"

"did you want to come and play or something?" Rose laughed and shook her head.

"Play? Haha, you're funny. No I just need a place to crash for the night. Got a 12 hour layover and didn't want to spend money on a hotel. Also thought I'd come see what kind of digs you have here." She looked past Swordsman into the building, trying to get a glimpse of the inside. She stuck her hands in her pockets and rocked back on her heals, thinking a bit as she waited for him to invite her in. Maybe she'd get a small sparring session in with Swordsman before she left. Might be productive to she how she fought without her swords on standby, she hadn't done that in so long.

Swordsman looked at rose adn smiled "yeah, it was good huh?" he said as sh looked around at the titans compound, which was a lot more scientifically then it's sister tower in San Fransisco. Asaman looked at Rose adn made a little smile before going back to monitor duty.

There was a teleporter where Mun would go into to go back to his planet and there was a corridor that let to the gym where Swordsman's simulation machine led. The most impressive thing was that there was an elevator that let to the rooms for the humans and a basement downstairs that had the grassy plains where Asaman would usually be.

Swordsman looked at Rose and said "What do you think. Is it cooler then the tower?"

"It's.....different......I'm not too into the science thing too much, except to know how to destroy it. Makes fighting giant robots easier." Rose looked around, not really going as ecstatic as Jay might be had he been here. It was just about time for the fun to start in the city, judging by how long the sun had been down. Briefly, Rose wondered what they did for patrols out here. She knew that Shinobi patrolled New York as well, nd wondered if they ever crossed paths when there was no excitement.

"So...what do you guys do here for fun? I've got lots of time before I have to go back to the air port."

Swordsman looked at Ravager and smiled before addressing her character "well, pretty much the stuff that you do." he then looked at the teleporter and the kitchen as he overheard her mentioin that she was going to have to go to the airport

"Say uh....where are you going? May I ask?" he couldn't help but asking her, he never had an intrest in what she was doing but it was just intreagueing.

Rose grinned. Swordsman was going to be highly intrigued when she told him where she's going, if he'd heard of it.

"I'm going to Nanda Parbat. I need more training. This whole 'precognition only working sometimes' thing is not gonna work if and when Harm decides he's gonna attack us. You ever heard of Nanda Parbat? It's a hidden city nestled high in the mountains of Tibet; it is said to be a place of healing and enlightenment watched over by the goddess Rama Kushna and her monks. It's also where Judomaster trained and Richard Dragon is currently living there. I've heard Batman even trained with the monks there."

Swordsman looked intreagued as he had heard of the training grounds, but he didn't know that practically every martial arts master in the world trained there! "I think I will join you." he then ran to the kitchen and got a few water bottles and packed them into a bag "When does your plane leave?

Rose laughed as Swordsman ran and came back with just a small duffelbag and water. It would be good to have a partner along for the ride. She shook her head and peered into the bag.

"Go pack for cold weather smart guy. But we have awhile before my plane leaves. Gotta get you a ticket anyway. Why don't we do that then go see the city via rooftops."

Swordsman looked at Rose and smiled "Sure. he then ran to his room and packed some jackets as well as changed into some civvies, but still had his sword out.

As swordsman came back he then looked at rose as he had said "Ya know, I don't mind a little run on the rooftop." he smiled again and walked over to a bin where he opened a drawer and pressed a button, immedietly some money went out of the slot and he took it "Got the money, let's go!"

While Swordsman went to pack, Rose changed into her Ravager outfit that she had packed into her backpack just in case, then pulled her clothes on over it

"Excellet! Now, where to first? The airport or patrolling?" Rose headed back toward the door, pulling out her mask to put into her jacket pocket. She stepped out into the crips New York night air and took a deep breath. She had missed this city, even if she had only garnered glimpses of it growing up. She still felt connected to it.

"Well, we can always go get the tickets first, then patrol the city near the ruins." Swordsman said as he looked at Rose changing into her ravager clothes "Uh...Don't you think that changing into our other clothes will bring suspision?"

"I mean, we're gonna go to teh Airport soon, but I guess you're implying that I should get my ticket online" he went to the computer and typed in the NY Airport online site and ordered a ticket to London. Soon he had a ticket and walked to Rose and said "Got the ticket." he then ran to his room again and changed to his swordsman clothes

"well, you wanna go on patrol?" he asked "We can take out some thugs."

Rose took in the crisp night air as she looked down into the heart of New York. The city that never sleeps was up and kicking even at this late hour. Something was always going on. And that's what she was looking for. Something big to waste the time before she had to leave. She reached out with all her senses, trying to find something off, something wrong. There was shouting of in the distance, followed by the distinctive rattle of gunfire. Bingo.

"Time to go." She grinned at Swordsman and took off towards the disturbance. As she got closer, she could see what was going on. It was a turf war. Two gangs fighting over a drop point for something. She could see that much because there was spilled contraband all over the street. They were running drugs. And they had lots of guns. This was going to be an interesting day.

Shinobi wasn't aware of Rose's presence in New York, of course, had he known he would have been more than happy to know that. Unlike the Bat-clan, the New York ninja made no claim to the city as 'his'. It would be a pretty arrogant assertion, and on top of that he didn't have the resources to protect the whole city...and it was hard to lay claim to a city that has a revolving door of Superheroes and villains, and is home to the Justice Society AND the Outsiders.

In fact, quite frankly, it puzzled the Ninja immensely that the city even HAD crime with the number of heroes it held. Case in point...he was currently perched on a fire escape, looking down at a gathering of a knot of people, perhaps a dozen, more probably.

He'd been intending to just call up the cops and leave them a nice present when he was done with it. Unfortunately, the volatile situation exploded before he could do that. And so, with a nimble leap the ninja jumped from the fire escape, landing in a crouch near the shadows. First thing was first. He needed to keep them from firing at each other. That meant getting them firing at him.

...If he wasn't such an adrenaline junkie, he might have taken a chance to think about just what he planned. Instead he grabbed out a set of kunai and threw it at the nearest people to him. "C'mon boys. People are trying to sleep at this hour, we don't need noise disturbances." He told them with a cocky tone to his voice.

THE NEARLY ALL POWERFUL GOD OF PERVERSION

Prime: You have a green power ring that contains the magical power of 10 ages. You know superman and you have wonder woman's autograph.... and you pretend to be a fictional hero made of bronze? (In refrence to TL saying 'I still pretend i'm Doc Savage' in another RP)

With great power comes the ability to cause a helluva lot of mayhem

Swordsman nodded and ran after her adn was no stranger to the gunblasts and fighting of gangs "Typical" he thought to himself as he brought out his sword but changed it into the Reverse blade sword from Rurouni Kenshin lore and with lightning speed, started to slice at the gang members.

he stopped for a bit and said "What's wrong guys? You're slacking!" he turned again and got a few more gang members befre stopping as he seemed to matrix dodge the Kunais that were thrown by Shinobi "Ah, the ninja." he thought as he was up on his feet again.

He always liked Shinobi, but he had this kinda air that he was this sorta badass that couldn't be kicked unless it was by batman or someone "I would love to fight him!" swordsman thought as another gang member went down with a kick to the head.
