Oh yes, LARFLEEZE IS MINE! YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM! MINEMINEMINEMINE!

Also, I do hope they keep the ol' boy around too, hehe. He's quickly become one of my favorite villains.

I'm pretty sure he's gonna play a nice big role in Blackest Night. (Or at least I hope he does in YJUTT's version).

I mean, when he kills you, his ring basically steals your identity and allows him to make avatars of you. This would mean he can potentially have as many avatars as the Black Lanterns do. And perhaps destroy the bodies of Black Lanterns and manage to take their identities.

His constructs have definitely shown a lot of raw power. (Then again, he holds his corps central battery at all times, so his ring is...I think at like a charge measured in thousands. Hell, GL rings have a limit of 288.5% if I recall)

Aaaaanyway...there's also the fact that his constructs have EATEN MAGIC. Yes. So...yeah, Larfleeze will likely play quite a role. And he DOES want the black rings...so yeah.

Harm may get some competition for having all the colors, heheh.

Prime: You have a green power ring that contains the magical power of 10 ages. You know superman and you have wonder woman's autograph.... and you pretend to be a fictional hero made of bronze? (In refrence to TL saying 'I still pretend i'm Doc Savage' in another RP)

With great power comes the ability to cause a helluva lot of mayhem

lol We'll be finding out how Larfleeze's constructs will do against their Black Lantern equivalents fairly soon if GL's any indication.

And that would mean that Harm, Larfleeze, and Anti-Jay are trying to get all the rings.

Oh that should be quite a battle of epic proportions. Anti-Jay has yellow, made red, and can easily grab another. Larfleeze is well, Larfleeze. And Harm has three already. Should we start making a tally?

I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not. I excel at not giving a shit. Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation beget disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law. So you see my dilemma.

Hahaha, good idea. The race to eight rings!

This shall be more amusing than my idea to have multiple characters battling it out to gain the Omega power!

10 rings actually. lol Though it's funny considering I'm pretty sure it's emotionally impossible to use all 10.

Even just the eight in the comics, many of the spectrums contradict one another. Hope and Fear for instance.

Though they do say there's an exceptionally thin line between Love and Hate.

are the rings in our universe going to represent the same emotions as the reg dc universe, or are we making up new ones?

For the most part they're the same as the comics.

Green-Will
Orange-Avarice
Yellow-Fear
Blue-Hope
Indigo-Compassion
Violet-Love
Black-Death

We just have one difference with those. Instead of rage our red rings are powered by Sadism and they were made on Apokalips instead of...wherever they were made in DC, can't be bothered to look it up. We also have a few that aren't in the comics.

White-Purity
X(which are invisible)-Sadness
Silver?-Still playing around with that one...

Okay, now that we'll be starting it pretty soon I do have a suggestion.

Given the route that Blackest Night tends to be going and that almost everyone has their own thing that they want to do, maybe we should actually split the stories into Blackest Night: Teen Titans/ Blackest Night: Young Justice/ Blackest Night: Outsiders. That way the subplots will be split up a bit and it might be easier to follow(get the feeling this story will have more subplots than Pirates of the Caribbean and Helpless combined)

Hey, I'm cohesive and flexible. I just have one thing that can be thrown in practically anywhere. But we should probably figure out what these subplots are or who is going to be running said stories.

Blackest Night: Superman did give me the idea of bringing back the 7 Deadly Sins from Bat Rescue in a similar way to Psycho Pirate. After all, just about all of them would trigger one of the emotions and it'd be logically a pretty good distraction to keep Plas and Doomsboy out of the way.

Totally agree with working out at least some of the specifics.

I wouldn't mind trying to get everyone together, maybe in the site's live chat area to discuss the ideas for Blackest Night.

I've shared most of my thoughts with both Marx and Mad-Libbs by now...and there are gonna be some doozies coming up.

I was also thinking, if Jay gets desperate to have an edge over the Black Lanterns, convincing a mage to summon Johnny Sorrow from wherever he is right now, since the sight of his unmasked face is supposed to cause incredible terror.

The only person who doesn't really have a set concept for me is Shinobi amusingly. He doesn't have any dead heroes/villains/family that he has a strong emotional tie too. On the other hand, he should have the discipline to make himself invisible to a Black Lantern, as long as he can do that he could logically be a support for any of the other stories.

And as for our old buddy Anti-Jay...well...you'll see 24.png
