Vampires. The word itself chills the blood. In our current times, most people believe that vampires do not exist. They chalk them up to fairytale stories and dark myths. Not one person would have expected that in the future, vampires would rule the earth and enslave everyone else who lived. Fast forward to an alternate universe; one separate from your own reality in front of the computer screen.

Year 2015

Era: Modern, meaning guns and other such weapons are allowed.

Vampires are the master race. Humans are their slaves and Lycans do as they please. When the takeover first occurred, the humans hired the Lycans to rid them of the vampires, but it was all for naught. The Vampires, who had already developed their own vaccine to rid themselves of their species’ weaknesses, gave the werewolves one that would allow them to keep their minds when transformed. Because of that, they formed an alliance that acknowledged their dislike, but made sure that any respected Lycan would never attack a vampire. Of course, as time progressed, the emergence of slayers could not be avoided and they came in every species.

Humans: Currently, the humans have developed certain strongholds in all different parts of the world. Because of that, some humans actually live free lives. They either use their knowledge or their money to keep themselves from being forced into the slave market. Needless to say, some humans have ventured into the world of the vampires and serve them freely, getting paid quite well for their services. Most humans would aspire to be master servants, considering it means they have protection and immortality.

Lycans: They come and go as they please. Most slayers seem to be Lycans considering they are the ones that live the longest when facing the vampires. They have their own strongholds, although many live and mingle in the vampiric neighborhoods. Some even serve the vampires like the humans do; it brings a good paycheck.

They may also be bonded to vampires as master servants. They then become almost as powerful as the master who forged them. Lykaons are the master form of werewolves. Most Lycans aspire to be them. The Lycan vaccine allows Lycans the ability to keep their wits about them when they transform. Some have even mastered the art of changing when the moon is not full, but it is rare. These also follow the typical folklore.

Vampires:This species seems to be the most common in the cities. They have different ranks among their people; the government is run much like a split dictatorship that is widespread. The High, High Master Yelena makes her home in Egypt, and every other city has its own master who reports to her and her partners. Kind of like states in a nation. Her two partner High Masters are Lillith and Vivienne.

Vampires seem to dominate almost every profession… except medicine. You can understand why. They either force or hire humans to treat the others in different hospitals around the world. They are the masters of the slave trade, whose master market is located in Australia. Slaves are transported around the world from this stronghold.

Unfortunately, the vampire vaccine is not common to people of every level, for it allows the vampires to venture outside in the sunlight, eat garlic, and populate holy areas. This is expensive and rare. Please keep in mind that these vampires are NOT Twilight related. They follow the typical vampire folklore.


There will be site-wide plots, but for the most part, you are able to create your own story in Your Blood Will Sing.
