Home. Finally, he could return home! That ruthless Osir--back to where he belonged. The night was breath taking and with the will of the desert, slightly cold. The vampire was thrilled to return to his beloved homeland of Egypt, and with each shutter of sand nearby, he felt at peace. And only the wind could carry him further now, as he walked on towards his destination. An old ruin. A temple of some sort.

Osir was dressed in his standard war-gear, and only wearing a dark hooded cloak over top, to protect himself from the sandy storms. Two swords were also carried alongside him, hidden for the most part, but still visible. "There it is. Over there." Osir whispered ever so slightly as he paused his movement for a sudden breath, eyes peering towards the sight. A wise expression then flew on his face, as he continued onwards, not worried about the consequences that he might bump into.

"Just a little further. I'll need to hurry before the rise of the sun." The ancient vampire muttered as he trudged through the open desert that seemed to swallow one whole every time a step was taken. It wouldn't be so long now, until the heavens would burst open with light. The raging sun! The mighty solar disk in the horizon! A vampire's worst enemy, if not taken into consideration. Oh, yes.

This old temple ruin will do until the next nightfall. He told himself in thought as he made his way deep into an underground chamber. Osir was only looking for some shelter to last him before he would trek out of his own stupid move to venture off alone into the desert. What reason had he done this for? Now only heading deeper into the darkness, and managing to see bits of neutral light through a lighter that he had brought along with him, he soon found himself standing in a large area. A ritualistic setting? Maybe.

Sooner than not, the dark man spotted several torches that were unlit for sometime now, and set their wicks ablaze. The room was well lit now, except for some shadows that lurked on the walls, and an odd altar just ahead. What the heck was it? Osir did not care, but decided to check it out anyways. "That's certainly odd. One would assume that this was the area of a priest--probably from the ancient times." He spoke up slightly, only then picking up a faint noise in the distance. What exactly was it? Or who? Osir would soon find out!

Yelena took many treks through the desert of her home, and most served no purpose at all... except that of her amusement. She loved the warmth and the bright stars that were easily visible during the evening. She would rarely ever attempt a journey during the daytime, for the sun hurt her eyes terribly. That evil sun... it was meant only for the human slaves and perhaps the lycans. But that was it. It was not for her own race, the strongest race, and at times she wished it was possible to get rid of it altogether. But the science against it was too strong. If the sun was vanquished, she would lose her servants. And she could not possibly afford that.

There was a temple ruins that she visited every now and then. The history fascinated her and she had investigated every nook and cranny of the place, deriving its use and purpose. Now it was a place a refuge, somewhere she could go when she just wanted to think life through. Being the Head Vampiress and the catalyst of the rebellion was quite demanding at times. Her ruthless demeanor, while true, did grow tiring sometimes and she liked to just relax. Today was a day for relaxing.

Her pale fingertips stroked along a carving in the wall, a soft yawn growing on her lips. She had woken a few moments ago. It was not uncommon for her to spend the day here. She trusted the enchantments of the location. Soon she would have to go back tot he courts and her servants and everyone else. She would have to continue her rule. But for now she was content to sit and relax. That is, until she heard footsteps. Carefully, she lifted herself, and walked silently towards the center chamber. Her grey eyes spotted a man. 'Vampire,' She thought instantly, raising one eyebrow. 'What is he doing here?' Her movement drew her closer to him and soon she was approaching him openly from behind.

"One would assume right, then," Yelena stated confidently, her exotic accent peppering her voice. "At least, that is what the Hieroglyphics say." She cast her hand in the direction of a wall that was decorated with more carvings. "The ancient Egyptians are quite fascinating. Yes... So why have you decided to visit this place?"

And at that very moment, he turned around quickly. So that was who it was? A woman--but still a vampire, and that he knew from the beginning he locked eyes on her. Silence. It seemed to cover the area with a power that even the immortals could not possess, even if only for a time. Osir did not know who she was by her face, but even so, he wouldn't hesitate in learning her name.

"It has been a while since I have visited my homeland last--I was just taking in the marvels of what is left of the ancient world that I grew up in." The man responded, near bold in nature, but still reasonable. "I didn't believe that anyone was here at the time, and so I thought I would stop by." He mentioned in another response.

"I am sorry if I troubled you in any way--I am Osir. Osir Shadii. And whom might you be, as I don't believe I have met you before." The proud warrior said, standing tall and at the ready if need be. After all, the ancient vampire did not know this woman, and who could say if she was foul with her intentions? Osir then let out a small smile, soon waiting for a reply.
