Yugioh Otaku Rules Read, & Follow Them
I got permission to use these rules,and my friend Padfoot helped me fix them,I have them on all of my forums, and they will be changed for this forum as needed. Welcome to Yugioh Otaku, a Yugioh themed forum mainly for Yugioh the anime, and manga more than it is the TCG. We are a friendly fun forum to be at. We are a family friendly board as well. We would like for you to read all of these rules so that you won't get in any trouble with the staff. The rules are set to be guide lines, please don't let them scare you. If you read the rules and obey them for the most part then you are good. If any staff member sees anything wrong they will go to you personally and tell you. Should you have any questions about any of the forum rules or should you see anything about any of the rules here that you don't understand don't hesitate to ask questions about them for the staff here wants you to understand our rules so that you can have fun following the rules here. After all we are a fair forum, and we want to be sure you understand all of our rules so you don't have any trouble following them. Have fun and thank you for joining Yugioh Otaku. Usernames: 1. If you sign up with a username that has any offensive language, drug,violence,alcohol or even any website promotion your username will be changed to something else, and you will be informed via email or pm about it along with what it is. 2. Making a new account to curb old restrictions is against the rules but if you have a good reason for making another account it will be acceptable. If you do this to get past the restrictions and we find out, both accounts will be banned. Also if you create a second account, and you don't have a good reason you will be banned or you create another account just to cause trouble you will be banned for it, not only that you must tell the staff your reason for the 2nd account in order for the staff to decide what will be done about your accounts. Posting: 1. Swearing,and cursing here is serious,and not allowed. So for everyones safety we have created word filters to cut this problem out, if you bypass the censors intentionally you will receive a warning block. You may not do any swearing in a post at all under any circumstances. Warning: You will be warned if any staff member finds you swearing in your posts/in the forums. 2. Do not post violent, sexual,drug,alcohol,violent or cigarette promoting pictures anywhere on this site This rule also stretches to links of images.. If a staff member sees this you will receive a block warning and the images will be deleted. 3. Do not spam. Spamming is when you try to get your post count higher by writing stupid or useless things. This will not be tolerated. 4. Do not constantly post in your topic to get it to the top of the page. Double posting is only allowed if your topic has not received any posts in 6 hours, also allowed if there isn't enough room for everything in your post but that is it. 5. No inappropriate choices when creating polls. If these are spotted your poll will be closed on sight. 6. Do not Mini Mod. The staff is more than capable to handle anything members have done. If you see something that we have missed contact an admin at once, we will deal with it. 7. If someone is rude, and disrespectful in a post still giving a link after the mean stuff was said,it is still okay to thank the member for the link, just ignore the rest of it, and be sure to report it to the staff so it can be dealt with properly, don't handle it yourself. Don't be rude, and disrespectful in your posts to other members on this forum you will get in trouble for it, it's not acceptable behaviour, and will be taken care of, and you will get warned for such behaviour, and possibly suspended depending on your attitude. 8. No joking allowed unless it is acceptable behaviour because there is proper joking, and the wrong kind of joking, and the wrong kind of joking won't be allowed on this forum. 9. No cyberbullying allowed, if you cyberbully someone that is grounds for being banned. Signatures: 1. Do not post any violent, sexual, illegal promoting, or racist images in your avatars, signatures. If we find out, you will receive a warning block and it will be removed. a) You may advertise only in your signature, one link to where ever it is you want to advertise. If an admin sees that you put your link in your signature more than once all links will be removed. A link for more than one site with in reason is acceptable in your signature but you can't advertise the sameone using more than one link. Personal Messages: 1. We have a PMing system. You are allowed to use this for those conversations that you would like to have for just one member and yourself in private. a) Advertising in PM's is not allowed, if someone does this please report the PM to an admin and they will be banned from the site. The only place you are allowed to do so is in signatures, and the Site/Forum Links forum. B)Do not harass any member through PM's either. That will result in a ban as well. Yugioh Otaku is family friendly, and harassing someone through PM's is not right and can be hurtful to the person in which you are harassing, if you are harassed then please do the same thing that you would do with the advertising PM's, report it to an admin. The admins will take care of it. C)Do not send any porn not even anime porn to anyone especially the staff in PM's if you get that report it to an Admin immediately. If you send any porn to Yami Yunita the Admin you will be banned for it. -- That's it have fun and enjoy yourselves.
