Color Code For User Names Need Help

I don't know how to do the color code for the usernames on the forum. It seems that Fujyoshi don't either she said so in the staff forum, and on MSN. So do any of the members know how to do the color code for the usernames on the forum?

Padfoot took care of that for me on Fantasy Galaxy, but she's not on this forum of mine. I don't know if my other staff does or not they aren't active.

Think your going to need to use a #hex code. These to sites should help I think.

What is a #hex code? Keep in mind I only learned basic html, and all of the html that is on my sites I pretty much figured out by what I wrote down that is currently not in my possession, and what was already on the page or I just copied, and pasted the html from one of my other pages, that's why my Non Mature Anime Fan Fiction site has an html error on it that I can't even fix. I don't really even understand what is in that topic you linked. I understand the color codes some but I still don't understand how to do it.

I got an answer to my question in my thread on Yugioh GX Forums but I'm still confused but not as confused. It has certainly shown me that I need to know more than just basic html, to be able to do more than just figure the html out. I wish I could figure this out so easily but no I can't.

That's okay. At least you tried to help. But I plan to do the color code one forum at a time so for now it's just this one then the rest.

I got it now. I just am not totally sure of the colors though. How is the orange for the Vice Admins group? I chose red for the Admin group because I happen to love red it's one of my most favorite colors. The colors for the other groups or up for discussion though.

I think purple would be a nice color for one of the groups. Red is nice color and orange is good too.

I would have used yellow but I didn't think people would be able to see it. Even though the forum theme skin is blue don't mean I like the color blue I actually can't stand blue unless it's bright blue but I like this though it's just blue isn't a favorite color, I wore to much of it growing up, I didn't decide on what to wear myself until 13, and grew to hate it. Okay. I'm not that fond of dark colors. I just need help thinking of the other bright colors. Although all colors will be ones that can be seen on the forum, if it can't be seen it won't be used. It was an easier task deciding the colors for usernames on FG, but then I don't/didn't have as many groups there.

I only wish doing the color code was as easy on Zeta Boards it's a lot more confusing than IF, I wish I didn't have any forums on ZB. At least doing the color code should be easy on Talkative World when I get around to it later today since it's PHPBB2, and I have always had such an easy time there figuring everything out unlike PHPBB3 the reason I won't upgrade my forum even though the forum host has the upgrade available.
