Reviving ZE Website.

Ok, its been too long Zoids fans, and I think its time ZE website is resurrected, and revamped. I made this thread for any suggestions you guys might have.

I see some members are making millions of screencaps, and I will be doing so too, as well as media like wall papers, clips, and avatars, ect. So, I figured, why not reopen the site?

Maybe this time, asside for being know jsut as the screencap capital for Zoids, we could be know for unlimited amounts of info, battle stories, data, model reviews, ect.

I know what you are thinking, doesn't that sound like Tilly's site? But no, thats Tilly's site. We need a ZE website, so draw in more members, and reinterest old ones.

I thought maybe we could select a few people to work on certain things, like one eprson does the battle stories, another does the photos and reviews for models, another does screenshots, another does wall papers, clips, ect.

If we can get the site back up and running, I just know we can get ZEF to be more alive.

Would anyone like to help out? And also, what do we need to do to get the site back? I can't seem to get a hold of Duo, so Maybe Jammer can do something?

Lets try and get our site back guys, because we all love Zoids, and I want this site to be more active darn it.

I hear you lycan...Its been way too long..At this point, the forums don't have a host to back em up...Its like a baby without its mother...We need a mother...

And Since this Genesis thing is out, Think about it, More fans will begin to emerge as they begin to notice Genesis, / Zoids...

Older fans will be born again, into Zoids..Yea, the time iz now to do something...

YES! thats exactly right. We need to find someone who can host first, then start setting up a layout. FuzNist is awesome at designing stuff, so maybe, with some kind pleases, he will help out with some ideas or something. If Blade was he it would be awesome.

Costs money to host a good site, but i will donate. We could get some hella bandwith, and host videos of clips,or even episodes for Genisis, and other series. Videos and graphics really bring in veiwers. So that might be cool.

I can make some clips easily from the DVD's I've ripped for music videos.
We'll also have music video sections, etc.

Wind, Steve, and I can take care of screens, though I think Steve's got it all at the moment.

While I couldn’t take any screenshots, I’m all for the revival of ZE. Of course, it’s been tried before... I don’t know how much I could do for the site, but I will still help out in anyway possible; I can cheer you all on at least!

On the subject of a server, perhaps we can try contacting Duero again... *Dodges thrown fruit* He might be able to make special arrangements for a friend...

Content? I have all the NC0 and CC/GF Dvds, and an ok collection of models.

Sweet. I'm in the process of buying all the Limited Zoids too, so I can provide pics and stats and stuff for those.

I know nothing of setting up a site though, so I will just provide whatever I can. I have all of CC/GF and NCZ on DVD too, so if we are msising anything, I can help. I'm getting the Fuzors soon, so I will do screens for those as well, and maybe Genesis, if it comes out on DVD, unless it is already. I dunno.

once I get my job ,and after my first 5 pay checks, I'll be happy to donate money for whoever's hosting the site..Also, I can't do nothing much with computers because my knowledge of hosting a site is very small, but I can give you a large amount of fan art for the site if you want..And thats if there will be an Fan art section...I need to buck up on my drawings for next year anywayzz...

So it is revival we speak of, of a lost memory. Time, the beast that rules us all yet is our guardian, it has taken what was lost. Now the fragments of today shall strive to return to them what was there before, and will be again!

On a more clearer note, cool ideas, you guys really have something going here. I have high hopes that maybe someday soon there will be a Zoids Evolution website yet again. Although I do not have much to contribute that is already there from another source, I can give my praise on the effort.

Hosting is always the biggest problems, paying for it, rather than getting a free service and dealing with adds. Not that one should complain, ZE forums of today lives by a free service, but a website is different. I am sure you can work out something.

And if you didn't get the fancy speech, don't worry about it, I was just being weird, I used to be weird a lot, when I was around more.

I could donate another icon libary and some AMV's to the site.

I'm willing to help with stuff... if someone can think of things for me to do, that is.

This again... wheee... it certainly would be nice. We were gonna set up a geocities site as a temporary homepage in hopes that a search engine would pick up on it fairly quickly, but... I got involved in other stuff... and it rather halted...

As for the original domain name, I'm not sure on that. I know Duowolf gave it up, but I have no idea how much it'll cost now.

According to godaddy, zoidsevolution.com is not avaliable yet. But you can back order it for $19.

My guess is that duo has to officially relinquish the domain first.
