around the corner from the bright and busy diagon lies a darker, twisting alley devoted to the darker arts: knockturn. the products sold there are a little more dangerous, and the wizards that frequent it act a little more suspicious than most. from the shops and the street vendors with their many dark artifacts, one's sure to gain a reputation traveling this street.

LOWER LONDON.
the opposite part of the city designated to the less wealthy side of the spectrum. the flats here are small, and the buildings are usually crowded. there are some shady characters about, but if it's affordable, it's worth it, and surprisingly a number of wizards happen to agree.

wiltshire is a ceremonial county in the south west of england, landlocked and bordered by dorset, somerset, hampshire, among others. it is generally characterized by its high downland and wide valleys and is generally wetter and milder than the rest of england. wiltshire has a reputation among the wizarding world for having an inclination for upstanding purebloods, and towards darker standards, at that. but rumors are rumors.

somerset is a marginally rural country of rolling hills and large, flat expanses of land. agriculture is the major business in the country, governed mostly by farms with sheep and cattle. apple orchards are plentiful around this hilly county, which has quite a high population, especially regarding its excess amounts of rainfall and wetlands.
