welcome
Hello, there, and welcome to: Justice and Mercy! Or, you know, just JAM for short. We're a brand-spanking new site, based on the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer. Currently, we're accepting CANONS AND MEMBER REQUESTED CHARACTERS ONLY- unless human, you can make as many human originals as your little heart desires- and we're looking for some Literate to Advanced RPers to help get this party started!
HYBRIDS :: This is an iffy issue. We have three canon hybrids, who are mostly werewolf. That's it, and that's all we plan on having. But, if you don't want one of the available hybrid canons, and you're DYING to make a hybrid, then... send a PM to Moonpie. Perhaps the two of you can work something out, but you better be prepared to defend your desire.

[Warning: This site is post Breaking Dawn. There will be spoilers in this plot.]
In the year 2008, something occurred between the Quileute werewolves that was both unheard of, and not entirely unexpected. The pack, a strong, imposing force, split into two packs. One lead by Sam Uley, who had since proved his skills of leadership. And the other lead by Jacob Black, the true Alpha male, if only by birthright. Of course, in the beginning, there were fights between the two. But, with nothing more than time, they were able to resolve their hurt feelings, and were often seen, all-together, acting as one big pack once more. Time passed us by. The Cullens left their home in Forks- with the exception of Renesmee, of course, who couldn’t be expected to leave Jacob behind- and it seemed as if the need for wolves on the Olympic Peninsula had died out. They settled down, started families, and most stopped phasing entirely. A sad thing. For if they had kept their ability to change, perhaps it would be an entirely different story than the one that I’m about to tell you. Certainly happier.
Houston Adrianna Black was the first one of the new generation- at the age of sixteen- to make the change. Of course, she’d always known it was possible; always been told that- should the vampires ever choose to return to Forks- she would be one of the first to be effected, as one of the oldest. And, as her mother was partially vampire, Houston was not afraid of the Cold Ones she knew must be around. As others began to change, she took on the role of Alpha, lead them to go and find these vampires. Eventually, as we knew they would, the Coven was found. But, like the Cullens, they survived only on animal blood, having come here because they’d heard the stories of a magical treaty between their kind and the wolves. All was peaceful once more; a firm treaty created between the Quileutes and this new family, the eldest Uley boy- Charlie- happy to step aside and let Houston rule all of the werewolves, and the humans oblivious.
But then, about six months ago, everything- and I do mean everything- came to a screeching, grinding, halt. Naeva, the youngest daughter of the Whinter family- the golden eyed vampires- had been hunting, through the forest, when she saw someone she hadn’t seen in a very long time. A vampire with alabaster skin, and eyes the color of rubies. Ghost Parker smiled, and vanished into the night. You see, the Whinter and Parker families had been… feuding for a very, very long time. Over a century, to put it into a clear perspective. After telling her family, Naeva went to the wolves, with a proposition. “Don’t kill the red-eyes,” She began, looking directly to Houston. “Unless they kill someone in Forks. Don’t attack unless provoked. Watch them, yes, but please… leave them to us. If they overstep the bounds, and feed near home, they’re all yours. But we’ve been waiting too long for this, to simply sit back and let you have them now. Even if we do consider the Quileute wolves to be… friendly companions.” The desire for long-awaited bloodshed was something that Houston could understand, and her affinity for the golden vampires compelled her even more. In the end, she agreed with the terms, and swore that no attack on the Parkers when occur, unless severely provoked. Some agreed with her. Others, however, did not.
Like one person in particular, whose opinion Houston needed and valued- Charles Uley. Charlie was an Alpha male by nature, not born to be simply one of the pack, while Houston was the Alpha by blood right. He turned on her, told her she was stupid, and a blood traitor. Her told her she was sticking up for the blood drinkers, because she was one too, wasn’t she? And that was Houston’s breaking point. The anger driven Alphas fought, and it would have been to the death, if the others hadn’t just barely managed to arrive and pull them off in time. But it didn’t matter; the damage was done. Best friends, comrades in war, the Alpha Female and the Alpha Male, split apart. The pack divided, the seething, far-from-childish game of follow the leader began. And no one, no one can see an end to it.
The Olympic Peninsula has been invaded by vampires. Some intent on helping- others not so much. And the ones who are meant to protect them? They’re a little too busy fighting each other, instead. Looks like we’re in for a less than subtle wake-up call.
