port royal` established quite a few years ago off the coast of mainland jamaica, port royal has grown to be one of the most populated and recognized material docks of the century. however, it has also become known as a place where pirates tend to pass through quite regularly, though the british royal navy is increasing the port's security to better the safety of it's civilians. for now it is operated by the governor weatherby swann, a respected man in the eyes england and of all the port's commoners. though he may not run a very bright island, but should you be a ruffian thinking they can ransack the place without consequences, you are very wrong. pirates, ye' be warned.	1	0	Jul 21 2008, 04:21 PM In: at least it's something By: elizabeth rose swann
tortuga` well known for it's wild customers who come to blow off steam, top notch brothels, good crew recruiting environment, and always stocked-with-rum taverns, tortuga is the rec room of pirate society. there are no rules here other than to enjoy one's self, whether it be through the companionship of one of the local women or by smashing an empty beer bottle over some random person's head. this is also the only port that isn't monitored by the royal navy, nor can it be controlled by the east india trading company. it's usually crowded here, since it's the only place where pirates can escape their worst enemies and fears; the law.	1	0	Aug 1 2008, 06:06 PM In: && I SAW IT FIRST By: riley rose stoneville
isla de muerta` the place that once housed the cursed aztec gold, and is still home to the rest of the black pearl crew's bearings. the island lives up to it's name as it is rather desolate and rocky in appearance, and an ever-present mist shrouds its shores. but, once you sail through the narrow caves, which can only be reached by a small boat, you'll notice the floor of the passageway is littered with gold, contrasting the walls, and the main chamber is filled with even greater treasures. but if you take the chance of picking up a souvenier on your way out, you're taking a chance with your life; because who knows? some other treasures hidden within the bowels of the cavern could come at a cost as well.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
rumrunner's isle` this is the island that the rumrunners used to use as a cache. it is also the same island that jack sparrow was abandoned upon several years ago after the black pearl mutiny was staged. due to combined acts of the british royal navy and the east india trading company, the rumrunners were arrested for illegal smuggling and the island is no longer used. yet, it makes a fine rest and relaxation spot for the passing sailor. perhaps you can even find the hidden, underground rum cellar, but it's highly unlikely.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
cuba` home to several dangerous and strange oddities, such as large alligators, the island of cuba is a dark and mysterious land made up of a few beaches and long, winding marshes through a confusing jungle-like environment. the only way through the island is by dinghy, and if you make the right turns and follow the right currents of the river, you could find yourself in a marshland community, with houses that are hoisted high upon poles and sitting over the water. if you're in need of guidance, perhaps you can stop by the shack of tia dalma, but be sure to bring proper payment.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
pelegosto` a thick island, covered in mass vegitation and filled to the brim with fauna, such as wild boars. it it also home to a society of cannibals, with odd appearances and even odder forms of religion. if you manage to make your way past the natives, there are still other dangers, like vines and thickets, as well as deep chasms. you're probably better off just tripping over the unsightly tree roots though, being hunted by those who live on pelegosto isn't an ideal way to spend your time exploring. but should you encounter them, just keep in mind not to let yourself become their divine figure.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
