YO, HO'! :] Group: admin!kyros Posts: 17 Member No.: 1 Joined: 2-July 08	hey all:] Okay, so, for those of you who are sticking around the site the most, ( that means you, ducky and sparrow :] ) I went to tell you thanks a million for not wanting Bound to die. Frankly, I don't want it to either. I've asked people to look it over, rate it for me, give me their two cents, and many have told me that it has great potential, it's just going to take some people with strong imaginations and a great motive to join the roleplay and get it going. I feel that so many people are wrapped up in post-potc roleplays, that they don't really think about what happened before the story we know of even started, so it's my goal to snag up some members who'll be willing to contribute to the plot, and the general idea of the site. So thanks again for sticking around, Ducky and Sparrow, and keeping me company while I was sitting at home taking breaks between homework subjects and trying to figure all of this out. Love you guys. ;] First things first. ACTIVITY. This site has 17 members. Of course, including the staff names of myself and Veren, but still. Out of the seventeen people on this site, only aboutttt, say, three or four of us are actually popping on here and even rping. ( i feel guilty for not rping yet, but i've just been so dang busy with tests and school etc, that i've only had time to visit and do some moderating :[ ) Anyways, I have to ask the question anyone who's been around here and has seen the lack of activity.. where the hell is everyone? I ask myself that everytime I come on here, and I'm about 85 percent sure that i'm not the only one. But seriously, I saw so many people join, sign on one time, and then never come back. I'll be sending out a mass e-mail to everyone and hope to see a difference if they recieve it, but the chances are 50/50. With that said, I move on to my next point. Advertising. Hot damn, we have a LOT of adverts. I thank Ducky for advertising like a lunatic, but still, it only seems to be reeling a few people in. I've never put my main focus on a certain genre of rp, but I think for now it would be best just to advertise/affiliate on all of the pirates sites we can find, and work up some interest of the other potc lovers out there, y'know, assuming that some will find Bound's plot even slightly interesting. I've started to do some advertising on invisionfree boards and proboards sites alike, ( because i have no bias against either of the servers ) because i want to get different people from different places. It adds variety and I know we all like to meet new people. On to my neeext thing. Characters! We are still accepting canons and OC's on the site. On Bound, canons already have something set down for them, while OC's can do whatever they want. While it would be awesome to see someone play as Mistress Ching as she was before we knew her in the third film, I also like it when members invent their own characters to come in contact with the canons. But yeah, anyways, I just wanted to clear up that I don't care what you all decide to join as if Bound DOES pique your interest. No favoritism here. They're both equally important and kewlbeans. Other than all of what I've just written, I don't think there's much more to add. The rules may go through some minor changes, but I'll notify you if anything is switched around.
