WELCOME

IT'S BEEN SIX, WHOLE YEARS.
it's been six years since jack sparrow was mutinied upon and stranded on a deserted island; until he was rescued by rumrunners. six years since hector barbossa weaseled his way into jack's life and stole the cursed aztec gold of hernando cortez, earning himself an eternity of unquenchable hunger and thirst. it has been six years for most, but it has only been four short ones since weatherby and elizabeth swann came over on the hms british navy ship to their new home in port royal, rescuing william turner II in the process. but what will happen between now and the future? everyone's fates are inching closer; and sooner or later, they are definitely going to collide. But until then, what happens for the next four years? That is all up to you.

"Fant is an awesome site. I would know, since I'm a moderator there. :] It's such a nice, awesome, and organized community, filled with interesting people from different places. The RP itself is set in a dreamtime state, where Maleficent has caused everybody, heroes, villains -- you name it, to fall asleep. This way all of the characters can travel anywhere they want without a real explanation. Again, it's a great site and our first official affiliate, so I reccomend you take a look!"

QUOTE
It was a quiet day in Agrabah, or as quiet a day in Agrabah could be, one would be quick to tell you. The reds in the sky had been replaced by a striking hue of blue, and the sun now reflected off the golden sand. The morning breeze had ended, and it didn't take long soon after for the bright orb in the sky to begin bearing down upon those who were filtering through the busy streets of the marketplace, doing their daily business just to keep themselves alive. It was always best to stay busy and mind your own business in Agrabah.

It was safer that way.

People were milling through the crowded streets, moving from stall to stall, shop to shop; buyers eager to find the best prices and sales, while the sellers interested in seeing what sort of sales they were up against. Then they would run back to their own corners to quickly start a five minute bargain sale. And such was life in the streets of Agrabah. It was dog eat dog here, and you had to compete to survive.

Jasmine never had liked that.

She remembered all too well her first visit to the marketplace, and the things she had seen during it. The children starving, the adults at eachother's throats...people in rags and without a belonging to their names...while she herself lived in a palace, surrounded by riches, fine clothes, and servants to do her every bidding. It was disgusting. And yet at the same time...she enjoyed fine life. It was ironic, it was hypocritical. But it was the way she had been raised, and she was rather used to it. It was hard to change one's ways after seventeen years.

Still, she tried to do all she could for these people...after all, her own fiance had once been one of them. She knew from his stories alone of how these people suffered, and she would have none of it. Not in her kingdom. And so together, they did what they could to help, one family at a time. Aladdin stole from the greedy and rich to give to the poor. He was good at that, stealing...it wasn't the best job in the world, but it did it well, and for a good cause. The occasional bad guy was even put in prison for it, and so it all evened out. So long as he was stealing from thieves themselves to give to those who needed it, Jasmine pardoned his 'crimes' every time.

But she herself did more than just this. She often snuck out to the marketplace in disguise, checking to see who her next 'project family' would be...those who desperately needed help, and in a timely manner. She liked to check up on families they had helped prior as well, to see how they were doing. None ever knew it was she, their very own princess, who left these gifts on their doorsteps or street corners late at night...she did not need recognition or praise for her good deeds. She was merely trying to fix what had unraveled when her father fell into dispair over her own mother's death sixteen years ago, and let Jafar 'take care of' in his place. Her mother's death, she always felt, had been her own fault. And so this was her way of repaying her people. Repaying her mother.

And so there she was that very day, strolling through the marketplace, cloak drawn up around her so that no one would recognize her as she walked among them. She knew if they did, she would be mobbed instantly. Razoul and the palace guards never knew of her sneaking out like this...for if they did, they wouldn't let her go alone. And her plans would be foiled just by their presense. So she had to be ever so careful...

She was just passing a fruit stand when she caught sight of something going on before her. Narrowing her eyes thoughtfully as she glanced at the small crowd dispersing a few yards ahead, she caught sight of large ivory turbans...and heard the loud voices of several men she had grown to dispise over the years. It was Razoul and his men, looking for her, no doubt. They had finally realized she was missing. They'd finally caught on.

Determined not to let them blow her cover, she looked around wildly, trying to find somewhere she could hide until they had passed. Choosing a back alleyway as her only route out, she sped into it, not looking back.

She had half-expected to run into a dead-end somewhere along the alley, but to her surprise...she never did. Instead, she came out into another part of the marketplace...only...this didn't look familiar at all. The buildings and shops were so different...the temperature had changed considerably, and there was now a gentle breeze flowing through. And the ground...it was so...odd. It was like a bunch of rocks, cut in flat halves and placed flat on the sand...

And then she saw the people around her, and instantly knew she was not in Agrabah any longer.

Startled, she stepped away from a woman who was bustling through, turning to watch her as she rambled away down the road. Taking a few steps backwards, Jasmine shook her head, as if to try to dislodge this odd illusion from her head. This couldn't be real, it was probably just the heat getting to her...that had to be it! It was just a heat vision, or something of the sort. Razoul and the guards would find her, and take her back to the palace where she would be able to cool down...she would have to deal with them yelling at her for going out unattended, but at least she wouldn't die of a heat-stroke!

The arabian princess was just plotting out in her mind what she was going to say to her father and the guards when they questioned her, when she took a few more steps back...right into the path of a cloaked man walking down the street...
