I know I haven't applied yet, but I need to speak with the admin about my character before I can do so, so I hope it's alright that I make this thread though I'm not a member yet.
I want to apply as a very small character from the books, who sort of came alive in my head with all sorts of ideas for her. The character is Bree, and before you say 'um...she's dead, loser', hear me out. I'm begging you.
Bree is the girl who Bella sees thrashing around in the field after the newborns have all been killed (with her as an exception, of course) and the Volturi approach. Yes, Jane has Felix kill her, but an idea popped into my head as I read this part the other day for the fifty millionth time. I'm a huge X-Men fan, and I've noticed a lot of similarities between the special talents some vampires have in the Twilight books and powers mutants have in the X-Men comics. And a power seen in X-Men is the power to body-hop or take over the minds of others. This is the power I see Bree having.
She wouldn't have realized she had any special talent, being so bloodthirsty and crazed as she was. So when Felix came at her, she would have used her talent unknowingly, her mind leaving her body and moving into someone else's body. Now, the details of her talent need to be hammered out to your liking, and I'm completely open to your opinions, as it is your site. I'm thinking she'd 'hop' into Bella's mind, since she was so obsessed with her--which would be convenient, seeing as Edward wouldn't be able to read her mind.
Now, obviously I don't want to play everyone's characters for them, so this would only last a day or so before Bree would move on to one of the (unplayed) human characters in town. And I haven't quite thought through the details of this, but I think it'd be really interesting to have her end up a vampire again because I'd really like to play a newborn for the Cullens to tame.
So let me know what you think, and please know that I wont abuse the possibly godmoddy aspect of her talent--I wont have her occupy any played characters except for that one day, and only with Bella's player's permission, of course. Nothing will be done without the permission of you admin and the players involved, I promise.
