Evolet needed to hunt if she was going to be surrounded by humans, at Edwards and Bella's Wedding. She had control but she just wanted to make sure. She climbed a tree and watched the grounds for a deer or a rabbit. She saw a deer, it wasn't white tailed but it will do. It was huge. She jumped down the tree and tackled the deer. It hit her back in protest but she bit into the deer, its warm blood giving her goosebumps and it slowly stoping when she drained the old animal. She teared up as she drained the life out of the animal. she continued drinking. She couln't pull away her thirst gave in.
After a few minutes she finished draining the deer. She petted the deer and wiped her mouth

"Desculpe velho amigo, agora você pode viver num mundo sem dor. Perdoem-me, velho veado."
(Sorry old friend, now you can live in a world without pain. Forgive me, old deer.)

She said outloud. She sat by the deer crying. She hated taking lives. But it was either humans or animals and she perfered animals. No human caught hersent yet. When she did she would run away. She couldn't give in, even if they loved her and she loved the human or vampire back. She was afriad if what happened to her on her birthday would happen yet again. She was terrified.
