keep you at your best
plot and rules. the rules and plot of the site are seriously important, so please check them out. they're not here to shove guidelines and do's and don'ts down your throats, but the more we abide by the rules, the less ooc drama will be created. which is nice, so yeah.

montague lane
Easthampton is at the tip of The Hamptons, the last stop when one is driving. Well, mostly. Like many other sections of The Hamptons, there is housing running right across the beach. This means that everyone has a nice private beach right in their backyards. Mind you, this isn't your normal housing. These are multi million dollar houses, billion dollar houses.

pleasant street
This is as normal as the streets get here in The Hamptons. These homes are straight out of a scene of an average American neighborhood. There aren't very many houses, because most of the middle class can't afford to buy another home, but there are a few that can. Think white picket fence and golden retrievers chasing Jettas.

old ruins
In a field is the ruins of what was once the grandest plantations around. The old manor home only has a few walls standing, but one can still see the sophisticated air of the home that once stood there. Of course, it is a little creepy to come here at night because some swear that they can hear the wailing of a woman.

east hampton beach
This is the public access beach for all the tourists that want to get some sun. Of course, there is a large parking lot that holds quite a few cars and leading from the parking lot to the beach are a few smooth stones to show the way. The line between the sand and grass is marked with a white picket fence that you can see on every beach throughout the Hamptons.

With a red carpet, and that lovely little line for everyone who isn't rich and famous, the club is exactly what you'd expect it would be, and so much more. On the inside, the club is dark except for the bright gold dance floor, along with a DJ booth not far away. The bar is also a gold color. It seems that this place is a mystery with a touch of glass.

When it comes to cutting fashion, this is where you should be. Unless you are the best of the best, you wouldn't even imagine stepping into this place. Open up a gossip magazine, and look on the pages. Chances are, you'll be seeing some ACE.

polo grill
With ivy crawling up the lattice work which frames most of the exterior of this restaurant, it is one of the most casual restaurants in all of Hampton. There are a few tables inside, but most choose to eat in the wicker furniture on the patio, shaded by large umbrellas.

janie's ice cream
Although its a little out of the way, Janie's is the best place to get some ice cream. In a black and white checkered building with red awnings is where the best ice cream in the county calls home. With three sliding glass windows to take orders, Janie and her workers are always friendly.

public pool
During the summer, everyone wants to go swimming. But not every one is lucky enough to own a fancy pool in their backyard. So for those unlucky souls, the public pool is here to serve. Shaped like a capital L, it starts with 3 feet and ends with 14 feet. Of course, there are two diving boards and there is also a slide that sits at about the 9 feet marker.

clausen memorial hospital
This may be the most important place in all of Southhampton, in a life and death situation. When Luke Clausen, heir to the Clausen empire, passed away two years ago, John Clausen, Luke's father, bought the hospital and turned it into the state-of-the-art facility it is today. You can be sure you can pretty much come here for anything, including plastic surgery.

tidal wave
A waterpark isn't always the classiest place to say, bring a date, but it always provides fun! The children of The Hamptons didn't have much to do, so the parents petitioned and a water park was made for them. Often you see teenage couples going for their thrills here, or parents bringing their children. It's a good way to cool off too.

cheese!
Every town has to have a pizza parlor, and this one just happens to be Hampton's. Its the classic 50s diner scene, with the checkered floor and the red vinyl booths. The servers come to your table on roller skates, and they wear those cheesy paper hats that say "Say Cheese" on them. Its a little embarrassing, but its money.

central park
The wheel of everything that happens in Hampton Bay; the park. Seven acres of lush green grass, surrounded by an iron fence that keeps everyone safe. There is a small pond that is found in the center of the park, with a fountain, and this is where people feed the ducks and any other creature that wanders around.

hampton bay mall
Oh, an area isn't complete without it's own mall! There are designers here, such as Juicy and the works, but there are also the normal Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, clothing stores that teens can't ever live without.

east bridge
An old, rickety wooden bridge overhangs a small ravine. It's haunted. Most people don't believe in ghosts, but once you come here at night, your perspective changes. The ghosts belong to Sarah Jones and Richard Harding. The two were lovers but they had been forbidden to see each other. So one night, they came to their favorite spot and killed themselves so they could be together for eternity.

To get here, you have to drive, unless you live around the area, and then you could probably walk. A river flows through this area, which falls off the cliffs to form the waterfall at the private beach. Picnic tables are sitting around here so that you could have a picnic lunch if you wanted.

quail country club
Known for this expansive eighteen hole golf course, driving range and ten tennis courts on several different surfaces, Quail is the best of the best when it comes to country clubs. It wouldn't be the Hamptons if it wasn't exclusive and you can bet the yearly membership fees are enough to make some people want to turn around.

l'étoile
Meaning The Star, the restaurant is the best French cuisine ever. Serving everything from caviar to frog legs to snails (although with prettier names), L'étoile is very elegant and classy, serving only on china plates and crystal stemmed glasses.
